Dwight should be playing more than Rondo or Bradley. He makes more of an impact on the game than either of them. If this means that AD is playing more at the 4 so be it. Dwight brings more interior defense with AD, and it allows AD to defend out on the wing, without having to always worry about getting back to defend the paint. He also sets good screens to give the drivers better lanes. I would rather sacrifice some three point shooting, which is up and down anyway. With some more physical play on the court. Vogel doesn't seem to grasp how to properly deploy his bigs, this was an issue in the Championship season too. Folks will gawk about this too, but we should have retained Drummond on the minimum instead of signing Jordan. Drum wipes the glass at a high level, he and Dwight would be a great tandem. Then again Vogel might not have grasped that either.

Agree Dwight > dj. Disagree on Drummond. You need only one of these kinds on a roster. We should have pursued a center who could shoot, pass, or preferably both.

And I don't think Drumm was interested in the platoon method and DNPs. With Philly, he knows Embiid is going to miss games and he would get to start some. Even he was going to come back, he would've wanted to be the sole backup and that doesn't align with Rob, Vogel, or AD's beliefs.

I'm hoping we can convince McGee to drop his ask from the mid level down to the vet min next offseason. I'll gladly welcome him back as a backup.

We could use some more youth at the position moving forward.

That's fine and dandy but typically not what you end up with you are cash strapped and only handing out minimums.

You're left hoping Lopez is tired of Disney World and that he wants to visit Disney Land for a year. That McGee will come back for cheap. Or you're looking at-Favors, Ibaka, Tristan, WCS, Whiteside, Zeller, Dedmon, or Damian.

We had Damian Jones. He fit the young and cheap description. We let him walk for nothing.

Dwight is now at 72% on threes for the season. He has taken 7 threes and made 5 this season.

Thats actually quite impressive lol. For a stiff guy like Howard to make 5 out of 7 anything (except dunks) is impressive, let alone threes.

really makes you wonder why he's a career-long terrible FT shooter.

Mental midget, like most NBA players.

I still remember the Lakers white board at practice 2012, when they were terrible from the FT line.

You look at their practice numbers and they are insane. During games, when they go to the line with the pressure, they kind of "fall apart".

Look at the numbers, Howard is at 82% on 1500 tries...thats a big enough number to say: "he CAN make free throws, just not during games". As you can see, for games most of those guys fall off of the cliff.

Blake at 54%, that’s almost as bad as stepping on a tire spike strip in a parking lot.

Thought it was his best game of his 3rd tour with LA, so far. Great sustained effort. Didn't make some of the silly fouls or turnovers he's prone to making. 4 fouls in 35 minutes is really impressive for him.

5 offensive boards? We never get our own rebounds.
