Let's not forget that Howard was snubbed on the top75 and AD made it, being one of the biggest question marks. I think and hope it will pass, but timing was terrible for this

Dwight was key for us in the 4th to get us that comeback with his defense.

Looks like Vogel forgot about him after that and just let Melo play it out and do nothing lol

Unsung hero, he was the one who stopped every Spurs attack in the early 4th

We need to remember to feed Dwight some lobs too if possible. Keep the big dog happy. A little edgier this year as evidenced by the bloody punch out with AD in the bench area.

Great D and energy off the bench to get us back into this one.

Agreed on feeding the beast. Sometimes he seals his man really well but we miss it. Think there was a play where Rondo faked the pass to him deep inside and then went to Baze in the corner instead.

Huge play in the 4th, he and AD imposed their will against the smaller Spurs. That energy and physicality really helped in our run.

That said, that's the first good quarter he's played this season and going into last night he had 0 offensive rebounds. Not sure why DJ had been the sole whipping boy when D12 has nearly been just as bad.

The biggest issue has been the fouls called on him in the first there games. The 4th quarter was the first time he was allowed to use his physicality without soft whistles. You saw him challenging at the rim, stripping players on drives and some good old fashioned bullying.

For some reason, he seems better defending on the perimeter than before. He's extremely mobile for his age.

Didn’t you see those workouts he was doing in the off season that I put up twice, where he had to hold in curl position in front of his chest that yellow weighted big tube while moving laterally and all around chasing the trainers? I remarked then that it should really help him on the perimeter. He put the work in.

Wasn’t he supposed to have 3 blocks per Bron before he could take that dagger 3? :D

We need to stop worrying about DJ and Dwight and just start AD at C.

We are getting killed on the boards most nights anyways, which I'm unable to process given our size. Especially with Russ (best rebounding guard) on the team.

If we aren't going to dominate paint points and rebounding, there is no reason for either guy to be on the floor.
