he didn't give them a meeting three years ago when he SHOULD have gone there. he's full of s***. he's been on his best behavior since the la debacle, but you know about leopards...
Leopards are soft and they have a delusional sense of the strength of their back to the basket and post up game. They also are in no way capable of contraception or loyalty. You are quite right. Finally they have not developed their free throw game despite years of opportunities.
Doesn't matter if you can make em in practice and not in the game. Shaq claimed to be a great practice ft shooter.
Dwight is obviously is mentally diminished. I remember him shooting 82% in LA during practice time. Just cannot convert with the pressure on. The Lakers have been generally a very weak team mentally the last 5 years...remember?
amazing how much everyone drops off from practice to games. i thought the effect would be smaller for pros. when i played, i shot like 85% in practice and 68% in games or something like that.
Soft! No I'm the same way. I would get tired and no matter how many FTs I took at the end of practice it didn't feel the same... I was soft too...
Yeah to Shaq's credit though he did make them when it counted whereas Dwight practically runs from th challenge.
i wasn't tired; i was amped. it's just really hard to simulate that adrenaline rush from the crowd, i think. my dad always said he thought i could have dunked in games if i wanted to (i was about 2 inches shy of doing so most days). i actually shot the ball better after i got a little tired, i think. anyway, that board indicates that the effect holds for basically everyone. not sure if the explanations vary.
I used to get like that. If I had any caffeine anywhere near game time I'd be too excited and then I'd brick shots but I'd get 16 rebounds.
You like Kobe or Logo Kobe once said, Jerry West had told him: "With the game on the line...it actually becomes easier to make shots" and he agreed.
That was an inside joke among Laker management when they were trying to resign him. Baby mamas and all that stuff... I wouldn't put it past him to do that. Howard is the Hit Factory...
