Could possibly be more if some of what we saw was just rust. Vertical aside. The comments he looked old and slow. I didn't think he looked that slow.

he's more of a dump threat than a lob threat at this point, which is ok if he's going to be playing a lot with rondo, who's a master of the dump.

    *waits patiently for ronstu*

Exactly, dude hasn't played a real game since Nov of last year due to the back surgery. Dude getting his legs and game pace back just like everyone but has been out longer. He did exactly what we need. Just hit those FTs but that goes for a number of folks too (looks at LBJ).

I thought it was funny in the 1st half guys like Rondo were trying to throw him lobs like he was 2009 Dwight. Haha

Man, you guys are totally being unfair to Dwight. He's coming back one year later and adjusting to an entirely new team where he will be playing a role he hasn't been expected to for most of his career. He's legitimately the 5th option when he's out there if we have a lineup of LeBron, Rondo, AD, and Green. It's going to take time but for those hating on Dwight, which center would have been a good alternative if not Dwight? There is literally no one in the center market this late into the season. Noah, while I do like his fit, is not capable of ever staying healthy and is terrible at destroying the paint - something it seems that Vogel has been trying to emphasize more of considering Javale+Dwight+AD kept getting lobs or inside passes. A lot of people will say Dwight lucked out in joining the Lakers but we also did as well. Imagine if we only had Javale as our center when Cousins went down. Yikes.

He has a history here, so not only is it completely fair, we're going too easy on him because we love the Lakers.

Dwight was a rebounding and stealing machine tonight. Good job.

Not to mention crazy good passing and 6 assists (?). Some of those were awesome passes .... who knew. 4 FTs in a row and 80% on the night, 3 steals. Holy crap BatCookie!

Outstanding game from Dwight tonight. I didn't want to sign him but with nights like these I'm glad we did. As LT said he had some nifty passes to Cacok in addition to his monstrous rebounding. Kind of a sick line with the double double and a couple blocks, some steals and 6 dimes!

Well if Dwight's gonna play like that in the regular season and stay healthy... book it.
