OK, leaving brain farts out of the equation, how about their games compared? I have a lot of confidence in Vogel and the coaching staff and the vets on this team to keep his head in the game.

I don't watch much of other team's full games, but I like Waiters' game better than Jackson, both tend to go out of control, but shooting wise, I'll take Dion

A bench scorer, Combo Guard that can create their own shot. Definitely fills a need.
Hopefully he leaves his baggage at Home & makes the most of his opportunity here.
    Welcome Dion.

Unsure on how he's going to fit in - I just hate the idea of him and Rondo playing together.

I've voiced my criticisms, but it's time to do the damn thing. Like others have pointed out, he and Bron didn't not work out in Cleveland. So Bron and Vogels approval should mean something at this stage. Prove me wrong Dion. Welcome to the Lakers!

Could it be ..... Rob didn't panic for getting Marcus Morris and have to give up anything and wound up with "arguably" the better Morris in Markieff, and now same thing "possibly" with the guard acquisition between Jackson and Waiters? I like that Waiters is "thick". Hope not much of that is FAT. He's got 6 weeks to get his butt in playoff shape. Hope that Kendrick Perkins was right about him having a lot of "dog" in him.

Could just as easily and even more likely mean that Vogel will not be stupid in the playoffs and will get his best rotations in place and substitute smartly. This isn't his first rodeo. Damn near beat the Heatles with Bron in his prime.

With Morris and Waiters the front office shored up our biggest weakness the best they could with what was a available without giving up much. The kind of decisions champions make. I like both moves. Doesn't work it was still worth a try. I don't like would of could of should of. Be strong do it and live with the results. Likely a championship.

i mean, everyone knew it was coming, but...i'm still annoyed. just don't see whose minutes he justifiably takes. even rondo's--you want waiters running point? we have three sgs who deserve all those minutes and 2-3 sfs better than waiters on both sides of the ball.

he was deemed too out of shape to play earlier this year, and hasn't played since.

i'll be shocked if he's helpful. pleasantly so, but shocked.

losing daniels wasn't that big of a deal, so i'm not super angry about it. just sorta questioning the purpose.

I want to see a James, Davis, Howard, Caruso, Waiters line up. Bully ball with athleticism and attitude.

Dion and Caruso should definitely play together.

Dion is not better then Caruso: the only way this work is if Rondo's minutes go down. Otherwise, I think this is a mistake: they have guys in KCP, Caruso, and Bradley who play hard, smart, and are talented as well.

Dwight had to be broken and was literally just dropped by several teams before coming to LA and reviving his career. Waiters just this year was with a good organization and he f***ed it up. Seems this more a Klutch tax being payed and a favor by his former agent..

I also question if this is a year too soon, but it’s low risk for sure.

I agree but I think we owe Rich Paul and LeBron enough respect in that they wouldn't jeopardize this team just because Waiters is a Klutch client. Let's just see how it goes. We won't have a clear picture of what Dion can provide to us before he's played a game.

Agree. They signed off on it. I'm good with it now though I was previously opposed to it. I will give the FO, Lebron and AD the benefit of the doubt on this.
