Well, Rob has a used car salesman, tell you what you want to hear type personality. I can see why Magic came at him with the back stabbing. His Mannas from above for KCP was the first ear mark. With that, it works for what he is doing. So, there isn't a problem where it matters.
I likely missed this during the season, but what do you mean about Dennis ratting out the face of the team?
We were saved from ourselves when he turned down that 4 year contract. Yea we lost an asset (plus KCP) but we have our championship point guard(s) now. THT will develop. The Lakers would've gotten more out of Dennis if he came off the bench and Dennis' contract negotiations would've gone well too. His ego cost him a contract of a lifetime
When everyone was questioning why he didn't get vaccinated, he said that Bron didn't get vaccinated either.
Not sure what you're saying is true or relevant here and had nothing to do with Magic's backstabbing BS. It much more seemed to be Rob getting frustrated because he was working his a** off trying to get s*** done and his boss often he couldn't get timely answers out of. So he probably started grumping about it to some in the Lakers organization or people he was casual with in the league and it got back to Magic who of course went ballistic.
Traded when? When we were competing for a championship? It was a gamble that made perfect sense. It didn't work and we move on. We have a better team now. This is absolutely true! He is really gone, I can rest now You d******.
That's my point. Rob should have told Magic to his face he was sucking instead of inuending(is that a word?) around it.
Not really. At the time we signed Nunn, Schroder was still thinking he was signing for more. No way he would have taken that at the time we signed Nunn.
Nunn is better too. If Nunn isn't bi-polar or something we do not know about, he will wreck shop next year. He is very talented. He might have an attitude that just needs to be unleashed. And if this team is old, well, let the youngster do their thing during the regular season to keep the old dudes fresh.
Honestly..it kind of feels like Schroder got blindsided by the Russ trade too. If that Hield trade goes down, we didn't have many options at PG besides him. Then he promptly went out, and priced himself out of New York.SMH...You snooze you lose, sometimes you lose big. I'm happy with the team though.
I believe Westbrook was the target way before. The only thing that may have changed is if Schroder signs the extension, he is used in the trade and the lakers keep either Kuz or KCP, probably Kuz.
I'm not a mind reader and nothing you said fleshed that out. You could have just given it a "No" and would have known as much. "Used car salesman" isn't saying that.
Do we have a new term here?? Next time someone screws up their contract, can we say he Schrödered it? He pulled a Schröder???? What a Schröder!!!
