We're gonna sign this clown aren't we? And it's gonna be for enough money to where we won't be able to trade him.:(

Signing him for so much money we can’t move him? You’re better than that. Pay attention.

There is no cap space, we can only sign our own players, we've discuss this over and over again:Rondonod:

Why would we need to let go of AC/THT? All three are Bird rights free agents.

Yes. But not to a contract which makes him unmovable. Have faith in Rob. He’s seasoned now. Smarten up! ;)

yeah, no problem keeping all three at just about any amount of money. just can't accept s&t'd player or use the full MLE or BAE.

could be two birds with one stone, as being limited to taxpayer MLE will help us not overpay drummond.

B/R ran an article that a lot of insiders are expecting a lot of league wide S&Ts this off season. Here's what they said about DS...

We can’t just trade him for anyone though, a sign and trade hard caps us, which makes filling out the roster incredibly difficult. So any Schröder trade would have to be for a star to be worth it, otherwise we might as well just try to re-sign him and then explore trading him later.

Yeah, it really seems like it, doesn't it? Maybe give him good $$ on a short contract?

It only hard caps us if the player we received was a S&T.

Ohhh I see, yeah that makes more sense. I was listening to a podcast about S&Ting him for Lonzo and they were talking about it hard capping us, but he’d be signed and traded too yes. I like Lonzo, but I don’t know that it’s worth it if it does that to our books.

it would be extremely tricky and probably would require losing AC or THT, i think. THT is still an unknown, but i'm not sure how much better than AC lonzo actually is, tbh.

Lonzo is much better as an open court playmaker. A bit better in ISO defense. Better as a rebounder.

AC plays better with LeBron. He finishes much better at the rim. Better team defender. Better FTs. Much more friendly contract.

    About the same from 3.

But I would enjoy watching this lineup play crunch time D:

    AD / LeBron / KCP / AC / Zo

oh, i'd love both. but if lonzo cost AC and THT and schroder...that's a steep price. even two of the three is a steep price to me.

and, like others, i can't forget that he really was in his own head here, and i'd worry that would come back.

Seriously F this guy. Kuz is far from my favorite Laker, but he doesn't rock the boat with teammates. This means it's DS causing drama. And I thought Kuz was talking about the bigs when he said there was better chemistry last year. No, he was talking about this clown.

    Maybe Dennis Schroder is misunderstood.
