I hate Dwight Howard.....Id still take Dwight Howard.

Only condition being he plays the got damn role he was supposed to how many years ago. We need a big.

Noah isn’t a bad option either.

I’ve just gotten over and accepted Lebron’s narcissism. Basketball gods please don’t let me sit through a season of Lebron and Dwight on the same team.

I'm shocked, pretty saddened by Cousins going down. Not only Laker fans, but I think NBA fans simply wanted to see him play at a high level again. Hope it works out for him in the long run.

On the Laker side of things, this is a blow. Especially considering depth and rotations going INTO the season. But if we're really a championship contender I don't think this makes or breaks the Lakers' season. LBJ and AD are going for MVP seasons and Kuz has the opportunity to be a borderline all star. I hope we can get more players for adequate rest, on a team level. With enough health to manage minutes, I still like our chances.

    Get well Boogie!

I’m really upset for both the Lakers and Boogie about this injury.

The Boogie signing was the biggest low risk, high reward signing of the offseason in the entire league. He signed with the Lakers for slightly more than the minimum and was motivated to use the year to redeem himself and get the next big contract.

Everyone was hoping for 80% of preinjury Boogie. Just a reminder that the week before Boogie tore his Achilles, he was putting up 50 pt/20 reb games. Imagine if it had worked out and we got 80% of that guy for $3 mil.

    So sad.

This is absolutely devastating. Guy can't catch a break....

As for Dwight, I'll take him. Can't deny his productivity.

He's a knucklehead, and will be on his 5th team in 5 years this year. He almost didn't play last year.

If healthy, could be a solid tandem for 20 minutes a game, but I think his days of being healthy are over.

Once you suffer from chronic anal fissures from overuse injuries, I'm not sure there is any coming back from that. But he'd be a hit with the LBGT community if we wanted to sell tickets. I'd rather see him on the Clippers tbh. Almost like sending them a bomb to help them implode from the inside.

Holy s***... That's not good! That's a basic bball move with minimal to no direct trauma. And all his injuries after on the left implying this was almost an inevitability.

The silver lining is that surgery looks to be the form of immediate treatment, so no wasted time will be observed for told injury to self resolve like we endured with Zo's knee injury.

So the 6-9 month timeline starts right when the surgery concludes. Due to his history of injuries, I'm sure they will take the conservative route of recovery, but the playoffs are still in play tho, as unlikely as it may seem now.
