OK I'm going to channel Captain Obvious "you know who" here .... Yes Luka is great friends with DFS. Luka also recognizes that all the moves now have to maximize the time line and arc of HIS career as a Laker going forward. So he understands the Lakers offer to DFS for the (similar?) dollars per for 2 years at his stage of his career and coming off ankle surgery .... was fair, even though Dorian wanted the long term deal. Luka is also great friends, including families, with Deandre Ayton. These two guys have not yet ever had the chance to play together and have wanted to play together, and now that's going to happen. There should be chemistry off the charts between them JUST like he had with DFS. Luka will be totally fine and harbor no ill will regarding Dorian not being able to stay.
I think Ayton going to be awesome. He's definitely going to have those Rui type of WTF are you doing if I had that size and strength I wouldn't be f***ing around you lazy POS games. Farmar and Robert Horry is enough for Lakers legacy and actually who cares about numbers,now most popular one is 0 which I don't think that anybody wore it in 90 or 2000 except for Westbrook and Tatum is champion already , Haliburton is 0 and one of the best in the league

laker haters are going to be really mad about this one, imo. we just need to find some perimeter defenders so he's not like AD having to cover for everyone all the time.
He’s way too slow to be able to cover for everyone on that end. AD was seriously something to behold on defense- best big down there as a coverall I’ve seen since Hakeem.
AD was, and still is, several levels better on defense than Ayton. I really hope Deandre can improve dramatically on defense with better focus for us- if not, we will be in for a long season.
