Played well n the first half and then disappeared. Oh well, at least we are 29th in the NBA at protecting the rim.
He's FAR from perfect attitude wise but I sometimes can understand his frustration .. Played with energy on the defensive end and never got rewarded for it on the other end .
maybe he's been hurt between the eye and the knee he's been nursing several injuries. He's definitely just not the same as the beginning of the year Trouble is with his lackadaiscal attitude and his history, just hard to tell with the guy.
he had a couple really aggressive plays on defense in the first half that i can recall. he also had a few times where i was wondering why he wouldn't just sprint down the floor on defense. of course, i wonder that about, like, almost every laker player every year. i'm still scarred from watching jokic's tubby a** just beat AD down the court routinely.
Two very solid games in a row for Ayton. He was the only guy on our team who could hit a shot in the first half v. Minny. He kept us in there with a double double in the first half, 12 and 10!
And the Ayton experience in full swing again - he starting to look really good again. DeAndre A Yo Yo should have been his nickname
He’s fooled me too many times, has me ready for the sudden drop off, but oh well, enjoy it while it lasts I guess
Another good game tomorrow against the Nuggets and even Ayton himself will have to admit he is gaining MOMENTUM....
Ayton is just a better player than Hayes period. We are going to need him, in order to advance in the playoffs. I get it, that Luka likes the lob threat dudes, the problem with most of them, is that they are pretty useless on offense, besides catching lobs.
I’m telling you this guy will step up big in the playoffs. He’s a space cadet, but locks in when the stakes are high.
Great play in OT. Scored 2 field goals when we couldn’t buy a bucket and defensively he was great. He is so critical to how far we go, I hope he realises that.
