Yeah what does everyone expect, Lebron at his advancing age to carry a team with not enough help? Is Lue better than Spoelstra was and Blatt the renowned European coach? Is physically tiny Lue going to have the balls in his first head coaching job to stand up to the King's snits when he comes off the floor and shoulder checks him next time he thinks the coach is not up to his level of strategy for a game when they are playing sub par? Like he did with Brown in Cleveland and Spoelstra in Miami? Does Lue have that kind of Juice? Just asking. I had no idea that he was head coach material. Then again I don't follow Cleveland.

First in the East with a 30-11 record and fired. What kind of good coach would ever want to work there? I don't think Blatt was given a fair chance anyway, and I doubt Lue will put them over the hump so the move just doesn't make sense to me.
Yeah Vecsey says a lot of stuff, but the point is the writing has been on the wall for months now. The timing is a bit strange, but pretty much everyone knew it was coming.
Blatt would be a much better fit with the Lakers. I don't think he's a great coach yet, but he's still a very young and inexperienced coach. He's still new to the NBA game. With the Lakers he won't have someone like LeBron who is essentially president, GM, and coach. Bring him aboard.

You guys have this all wrong, LeBron is not the GM of the Cavs. He's the owner and GM, he's Jerry Jones. What he wants, is what happens. He wanted Love, happened. He clearly was not bear buds with Blatt, and likes Lue, so Blatt is out. LeBron runs that team, and if they don't win its on him. He deserves way more blame than he gets for stuff like that.

I don't think he's a great coach or anything and honestly he should have had a bag packed since Bron got there, but the timing is surprising. Good for Lue getting a HC gig. He has the respect of the players, something Blatt was never able to capture. Bottom line: What Bron wants, Bron gets.
Blatt wasn't the problem ... Love is . I'm surprised most of you are "fine" with this choice . Lue isn't going to change a thing. Blatt is a way better coach than Lue right now ... He just couldn't really coach because Lebron said so
