    First, welcome to the site.

Second, there is so much wrong with this post that I don't know where to start. I hope you settle in here and find your place as a site member. My advice would be to remember the following things:

This is a family friendly site.
We don't tolerate posts that use race or sexual orientation as insults.
    Don't try so hard.
    Stick to basketball.

Congratulations to the heat are playing a good game. Danny green is a good man who should be worship for trying hard and playing his best. Is does not matter who wins as long as both teams play with honor and respect.
    I like turtles.

You're in luck sir. I found I had the same need once upon a time, so I made this:

Now that I had some time to really think about this... I'm not even sure I am going to blame Danny for missing the shot. I can blame him for not playing well in the bubble in general, but not for the single shot. Anyone can miss this shot and you start asking yourself who should be taking it anyway? Well, the logical answer is: whoever has the best chance of making it, thus winning you the game.

Bron isn't really a shooter, but he was hot that night, so he probably had a better chance of making it than Danny. But we have to keep in mind that Bron, for all his qualities, is primarily a playmaker, so his job might really be to draw the defenders than make the perfect pass.

So, basically, that leads us to coaching. I think it was Vogel's responsibility to find the right combination of players to execute this. Regardless of their reputation or how much money they make. Danny is cold in general, and he wasn't in the game before that. On the other hand, Kuzma is younger, taller, has that swag necessary to take the shot - win or lose. I think he should have been in for sure. If your plan is for Bron to drive & dish in order to create the best possible shot, which is his bread and butter, then you go with this:

    1. Bron will drive. If they somehow don't all collapse on him, go for the layup. If they do, which is more likely, then
    2. Put Kuz on top of the key for 3 and
    3. Tell KCP to try to make himself open in the corner, because he has been playing well and his confidence is high. That's his shot anyway.
    4. AD should be doing what he was doing (either looking for the mid-range opportunity or a rebound in case of a miss) and
    5. You probably don't want Morris in there since he is not a high IQ player who can make the right decision quickly. Honestly I'd rather have Dudley there in that situation, if nothing else than as a decoy. But realistically
    6. You put a young, athletic player in there to hustle and who is likely to make the right pass if necessary... and that's Caruso. If he makes a mistake, it is a great learning experience.

My point is, this is not on Bron, since he made the best play possible. Danny should have hit the wide open shot, but again... the best players ever missed open shots like that. It's not a shame to miss, but he should not have been there. It's the coaching that needs to improve here and Vogel is not alone there. This should have been discussed some more prior to the play, IMO.

I just hope that Green is strong mentally (which he likely is) and will not completely choke tonight because of it. Maybe it motivates him to prove everyone wrong and contribute more significantly in game 6?

Disgusting. I call the dude trash on the court, I don’t mean it literally or anywhere aimed at the man himself. Death threats? Laker fans should be better than this, this is a game, these dudes have been in a bubble doing nothing but play basketball and hang out with eachother for months for our entertainment

That's awful. As critical as we've been here and deservedly so, I would hope that no one would ever sink so low. Not ok. Venting is fine and is why we've got a great place to go like LB. Show everyone they are wrong tonight DG! Sorry to hear some have gone way too far.

Terrible! Who's the net sleuth here on LB that can track down the perp? Starting with likely suspects.

@ZenMaster ...... do you have an alibi for the time this threat was posted?

    :Kareemlook:

Nah. Not even you. Now that robzillaa cat .... someone needs to check him out. Or at least harass him as payback for his short post history here.

It's how he missed it. He was way short and that was with him jumping towards the basket. He had a lot of shots that were short. I actually wonder if he's hurt because missing short as often as has typically means you don't quite have all your strength, whether that be through fatigue or injury.

I’m probably the oblivious but this is pathetic. People write all kinds of crap on social media that they would never say to someone’s face. Sure people are pissed but show some kind of restraint. Threatening someone’s life over a basketball shot is insane.
