Damn it Danny Green you are almost done but you showed some heart tonight. We still tradin' your butt 15m butt though! If I am peckish tonight I have a meal option.
10 points, 4/8 from the field. Nothing special but I’m not going to complain about that in a gritty Finals victory. The three pointers he hit were big in the moment, his defense was solid, and he actually does seem like he’s trying to fight through an injury out there. I think two of his buckets were actually wide open layups, but I was actually expecting him to miss or get blocked so that was a pleasant surprise
Lol I didn’t even realize he hit some 3s. All I remember are the bricks. One more game Danny and then we can try to trade your trifling butt.
The thing is with Green is like all his shots are wide open. I mean he might as well get a towel and wipe down the ball before shooting because he has that mich time Really need to get an upgrade next year for him
The Heat are LEAVING him wide open... that's how bad it is for him. This is the same Danny Green that torched Spoelstra's Heat in the 2014 Finals and now, they're basically letting him get the shots. At one point, Danny Green ran our offense for three straight possessions. I was about to unplug my router after that.
Welp - he played as good as he did in game 1 like I said he would...but yeah I agree with others..for $15m, he should be doing what KCP is doing for us. Thank GOD we re-signed KCP and man, i was one of many that hated the re-signing of him! Imagine if we didn't pay Danny Green, McGee, and Cousins and used that money for Jimmy Butler instead...smh.
Javale was worth the money if you ask me. Great locker room guy and was very good in the regular season. Danny Green is literally the only bad signing I can think of... and I guess Avery Bradley as well since he didn't re-join the Lakers but I don't blame him for that.
Butler was gone before they took our money, Cousins we couldn’t really account for, McGee was fine and Green has been garbage.
Damn - i forgot about Bradley. He'll be another trade piece for us next year - as we did not end up needing him with the emergence of Caruso and of course Rondo.
I don't think we can totally discount the leadership and champion experience of Green and McGee in that locker room. Bron is without a doubt a great leader and champion, but I think this dressing room works because there is winning experience throughout the locker room.
He needs to do more work on leading his shots into the basket. I think he's a solid locker room vet, but that's weak at $15m. Just look at the price tag of our other locker room vets -- Rondo, Duds, McGee, Morris, JR, Dwight.
yea theres plenty of vet leadership as is, no one on this team would need Green to be that leader anymore than the next guy in Rondo Mcgee and James
Warriors have a 17M tpe (from trading Iggy)....they value vet with experience and shoooting....just putting it out there if you reading this Rob
