Did not hesitate on his shots tonight. Made a couple that started a barrage. Need a cut man in his corner after the Butler 'bow.
Damn it Danny Green. Hello is it three you're looking for. Three threes and three blocks even. Moved the needle on contribution. Brand new your retro.
...heard a few days ago in the WCF Green is the second leading rebounder on the team? Is this real life? LOL!
LOL. he’s so bad. I wonder if he knows he’s this bad? I, like most ppl on this board, can’t wait until he’s gone. he does nothing well for us, simply hurts us every moment he’s out on the court. It’s probably all mental now too.
At this point, seeing how awful Danny Green is, we'd likely have to give up Caruso as well in a package for a trade. Who would want this guy anymore after this. I mean what can we really do about this guy. Trade? To who? The WNBA?
I have talked about how some of our roleplayers have hit some very timely momentum changing shots for us in this postseason run. Shots that don’t show up in the highlight reel as a clutch play, but were still very important at that point in the game. Green may have had a few of them in these playoffs himself. But tonight, I was almost convinced that Green somehow pulled off the exact opposite; a sequence of bricks so bad that I was certain the basketball gods were going to snatch the momentum from us even though you wouldn’t normally think of some missed shots in a double digit third quarter game as being that important. I think it was three straight wide open threes from the same exact spot. 2 on one possession after getting an offensive board, the other the next possession. Each one missing worse than the one before. Than soon after, a similar brick from the opposite end but same angle. We’re so good and Miami is decimated, so it didn’t end up making a difference. But that really deserved to have consequences. Atrocious game.
