he's making it much easier on the team to move him as a pure expiring. if he were bringing value more consistently, i think he'd be safe on the trade market. almost feels like he wants out, tbh.

More likely than not - DLO is a goner because of the expiring and it's our way of getting something for him instead of nothing.

If it results in Cam Johnson, DFS, Kessler/Sexton...etc I mean at this point, I'm happy to take on guys that extend past this year so that we have guys for next year (similar to when we got DLO/Vando/Beas for Russ). eSsentially this is Pre-Agency once again for us....

dlo had cleary run his course here. i was hoping to use the contract to better effect. i guess we'll see what happens after this, but the "do something rob" folks should be happy, i guess. we did something...

I was always Team DLo. Wish he would have had a bigger impact in the playoffs. When he was on he was so fun to watch. Godspeed.

 

yeah, i liked him more than most. but he gave the FO very little choice, imo. he needed to play better this year if he wanted to stay, and he hasn't.

Yeah. I was a fan but he had plenty of chances to nail down a spot here and just wasn’t able to.

 

Would you bring him back on the cheap if he gets bought out?
