I came here to talk about that play, I thought it was his best tonight. Just a moment before that clip you can hear Van Gundy say the Warriors lined up in a zone to confuse the Lakers. DLo makes the right read and breaks down the defense in 2-3 moves. Another huge game for this guy.

 

I liked his attire and approach to the game even when he airballed a wide open 3 or the layup in the first half.

Hes got the same 3 level game like Fox. He ain't as good athletically but with his size he can slice and dice this Warrior D up. No JJJ protecting the pain back there

 

should have been an And 1 too.

 

I was thinking that he sat for an awful long time at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Wasn't his first appearance in the 4th with under 5 minutes to go in the game??? Seems like you would get really cold on shooting. I know Schroder was playing well but felt like our offense needed DLO to make it run. Tough game to call tonight, Rui got little play but Vanderbilt was playing really good D on Steph, so hard to complain too hard. Rui can not guard Steph. DLO had a solid game.

he and schroder were the guys who figured out how to capitalize on the attention AD drew from gs's back line. as others have said, he can convert more of those (same with schroder--both missed some makeable shots in the paint), but he hit the last and toughest one.

i was worried when he airballed that three. he's slowly working his way out of whatever his postseason issues are, but they're not all the way gone.

Great third quarter and as a result we pulled ahead a good amount. Glad to see his confidence carry over from thay game 6. Hes trying defensively but we need him to be slightly better because we need him out there on the other end. Gotta make the Warriors’ guards work defensively

 

This series is tailored to his game IMO. Stay aggressive, the Warriors actually want opposing guards to shoot jumpers, they feel like they are better at that game than anyone else. However D'Angelo is a legit problem, if you give him space to work off his dribble. He can be huge for us in this series.

i think 4/100 is a deal that both sides should be happy with.

 

Need D'Angelo to show up and show out tonight. He's making too much money to just be a complimentary role player.

 

His three ball has kind of disappeared. Hopefully he knocks some down at home.
