I don’t recall though if he could handle the ball in the open court like Colin. Bill was a beast on defense and always gave Kareem a tough battle.
I see him struggling if he’s drawn out to the perimeter. He’ll have to work on that with so many stretch 4’s and 5’s out there to have to match up against.
This Castleton kid can be an NBA player with some work. Just watched some highlights… he’s quite big and long… close to 7’, maybe around 235 lbs, good wingspan… nice shot, willing defender. I mean, you could try to build another Zubac type here, for example.
He is a much better passer than Zu, though. So I am quite hopeful. How amazing would it be to find 7' AR...
It’s funny … if you search on his weight the answers come up all over the map …. 231 - 241 - 251. Doris kept calling him 250 but think you’re closer 235-240. He collides with some of the thinner tall young guys and they’re the ones that bounce off from his good base. Why I could see him by mid season off the “deep” bench in moments of need when AD not available distributing the ball, setting screens and beating some selected matchups with his dribble, footwork and nice little turn around. So far in SL shows good accuracy with the short one handers if guys will find him.

I love what I see so far, but I don't want to get my hopes up. This could be a legit gem. I can't give enough props to our FO. I never worry when a pick is announced or a UDFA is signed.
Even beyond the stats. He brings the ball up looking around and making the right pass. His screens are solid, he holds them and rolls to the right position. Nice shooting touch, follows his shot. Good defender, good team defender. Colin is a solid player. Small box thinkers beware...lol.
