One more thing. What's up with this moratorium BS? Free agency starts 1st of july and you can't sign a guy till 9th? That's major BS.

I'm with you LT in hoping that Jordan is true to his word. Show character...show integrity. The Clipper contingent possibly going home dejected and Cuban downing a slew of Rolaids makes for good theater. I say this, it won't be decided today. It will be one of those "I'll think it over for awhile..." episodes.

It has to do with the NBA audit. They don't complete the audit until the 9th, but they open the FA period on the 1st. Why? I don't know.

All Clipper press so far @Doc Brown . Every "leak" and "source" is coming quite transparently from the Clipper side. Either Rivers or their players.

I still have faith in the greatest pitchman ever: Chandler Parsons.

...Jordan will probably realize that if he goes back to the Clippers "the more things change, the more they stay the same" so I doubt they will actually run plays for him. Paul will go back to the same antics that filled their contentious relationship. Griffin will still get all the touches. Hell, Austin Rivers likely will have more plays than him.

I said this in the Johnson thread, and I am sure I'm going to mean it even more after watching Summer League and the first video clips of Hibbert on the practice floor for the restarting of his career playing for the L.A. Lakers ...... that I still don't "fear" them any more. Bring it on. Of course gets a lot more competitive again on their side. Will be some epic games and who here doesn't want to see Julius banging bodies with Biff? That alone worth the price of admission. And I think Biff really stepped his game up and is a physical beast for his size. But man, sounding like Julius is taking names. Guys with more mass than Biff were flying off slower ( LOL like he looked slow... Not), heavier and "weaker" I'm willing to bet, Randle last year in pre-season games.

Either way this goes, a lot of bridges are burned for the Clippers.

Clippers are still the most hated team in the NBA and it's not even close this time.

This is disgusting....I just cannot believe this is happening...

Then again, this is major karma for Cuban who opposed the Cp3 trade years ago....his team will end up with nothing and maybe Wes Matthews backs out too....this DJ move can hold up everything once again for us...UGH

This might trump the CP3 veto as the nuttiest NBA story ever. Can't believe all the ramifications of this potential decision for DJ to just go back on his word like that. I really hope the Clips aren't given this bit of good fortune, but it would be pretty hilarious to see Cuban have all that egg on his face.

Taking a step back, I don't care if he goes back. They still won't win the West, the Clippers look pathetic and shady and will be the most hated team in the league, Jordan looks bad, and the Mavs apparently tank. As long as this does nothing to our getting Hibbert, whatever. Oh, and Jordan will regret it when he starts getting berated by Paul again and stops getting those all-important high-fives after a few games.

so if DeAndre goes back to the Clips and the Mavs are in need of a center, wont they just trade Monta for Hibbert instead?

    NO! Dammit! :D

Cuban loses ALL footing in a debate if he encourages Indy to do to us what just happened to him. Indy doesn't want to look just as bad as the Clippers/Jordan and renege on a done deal. We get involved and send them Lin/Hill, they send Ellis to Indy, we get Hibbert. Dallas is going to tank anyway if Jordan leaves. Why would they want Hibbert?

Maybe. If Bird is a spineless piece of crap whose word means nothing like the Clippers & DJ. Something tells me he'll honor the agreement in place with us.
