I'm no fan of Chris Paul, but I have to say after reading that Eaves report, pretty genius move on his part. Also, yeah, pretty obvious to anyone even outside the situation that Austin Rivers owes his job to his daddy.
doc rivers is a piece of ****? in other news, the sky is blue so lou hated playing in houston or what? also lol @ lou and crawford being on the same team now. they're basically the same exact player
I just read and forgot to copy the link a current event type article with the CP2 trade and it was talking about them having to move Ryan Anderson just to get that done. ??
As the Eaves report points out, this move opened up a lot of possibilities for next offseason. Now Chris Paul, LeBron, Wade, Melo, whoever else will be free to go join up in multiple places if that's what they want to do.
Makes me think and chuckle that everyone thinks this FA period will be crazy wait till next year...... HOLY COW. We got the PG, Cousins, Westbrooks players and then we'll have the Lebron, Wade, CP3, Melo, etc... It will be nuts!
I don't think he left money on the table. He had a player option for this summer, he opted in and since he was traded, Houston can give him the 5 year max next summer.
If he opted out, he could have received a bigger increase. There was a trade kicker, but it may be close to 5-7 mil he could have earned if he opted out and signed for the max
