After the C Bags beat us on Wednesday Byron should be fired. End of story.

Can you imagine how much everyone's mood here would improve with one glaringly obviously needed change for the new year?

No matter the circumstances...if there were two must wins every season for me it would against them but I do understand what you said.

I hope they blow us out and the Sixers beat us again.

If that happens I can't fathom how Byron still has a job.

As much as I love the Lakers and hate the C Bags this is what needs to happen.

In LA, the Lakers are transitioning out of the Kobe Bryant era and changing the coach isn’t going to change the way Kobe is used in his swan song season. The Lakers from the top down wouldn’t sign off on it. So if nothing is really going to change on the court, why fire Scott who is doing basically what he was asked to do? It might make fans feel better to see Scott gone, but the truth is outside of a few guys wanting bigger roles, the roster is OK with Scott and the season is not going to change much.

Sources close to the process say that Scott’s job will be evaluated after the season and if it is deemed a change is needed it would happen then, and allow the Lakers to do a full and complete search for the right guy for the next part of the rebuild.

Talk is cheap. Nothing on the court shows Byron scott moves work. Can't believe the FO is enabling this madness too.

    Good lord.

Maybe he should be fired because Scott isn't developing any of the youngsters, and in fact, his terrible schemes defensively and offensively are teaching them bad habits.

They should know we can develop for the future along side Kobe's swan song.

    Are we winning games? No.
Are we developing our #2 and #7 picks from the last two years? No.
Is there a cohesive and understandable plan on the floor? No.
Is there a straightforward rotation? No.
Are there obtainable goals for the youngsters that will get them more minutes? No.
Is the performance of the team statistically respectable in any way, shape, or form? No.
Are the players responding positively on the court to their leadership? No.
Are we getting the best product possible out of this roster? No.
Are they meeting expectations and goals set before the season started? No.

Feel free to keep adding to this while I go eat lunch.

As sirron's follower on twitter, I feel obliged to help him and retweet all of Byron's madness. It's the only way to get the front office's attention, especially Jeannie who's active on twitter.

The only thing I'd changed is to send some tweets to Magic Johnson too (unless he did it already and I just got lost in all of it).

Oh most definitely Magic should get the heat for his hypocrisy.
