It was an awesome game Juronimo. You should definitely watch it, it was fun, exciting and our young guys really showed how aggressive and good they can be. One of my favorite games of the year by a mile.

Okay so like I said in Gametime he clearly got a talking to from management. Clearly, right? Now we're finishing with the kids and it's all about their development? Really? Gotcha.

Also, f*** him for JUST NOW figuring out what all of us arm-chair coaches figured out over a MONTH ago. Are you kidding me? What were you doing in the pre-season? Getting sloshed and swimming in the gorgeous waters of Hawai'i with your pal Worthy? Why is that we as fans are seeing things from afar that you can not see while sitting right f***ing next to them?

He doesn't get credit from me. If you want to have Russell/Randle off the bench fine, but why is Sacre playing? I like Big Bob probably more than anyone else on this site, but he's a goon. He's a big body you send out there for unspectacular plays and 6 fouls. Where the f*** is Tarik Black? Has he been taken out back behind the shed?

Honestly I wish we could say that but the only reason he directly contradicted himself is because Kobe and Clarkson were injured.

I don't think we see Russ/Randle in the game, playing 30+ minutes if the other 2 are healthy.

I hope the message is "keep playing D'Angelo, Jordan (when he gets healthy.), and Julius or you're done as the coach here."

    Here's what'll happen:

    1. They'll have the meeting and both Scott and Mitch will leave saying, "it was a good meeting we were just going over some things we're looking for and bouncing ideas off each other." Mitch will say "we support Byron still".
    2. The kids will play a lot more and Kobe will play a lot less (like last night).
    3. Give it maybe 5-10 games and the kids will move back into the starting lineup for good.

    4. In secret, Mitch will have told him if you fail to start winning games OR playing the kids significant minutes (ideally both) then we're going to have to fire you. Public perception of you is toxic, our season ticket holders and benefactors are calling for your head. I can buy some time, but you need to either show off the young kids or win some damn games. End of story.

Jim: "We cleared your office for you while you were gone."

Mitch: "We already found your replacement"

Jeannie: *storms out of the office*

*Mitch turns his laptop around. Luke Walton waves on Skype*

I'd like to be a fly on the wall for that meeting. Just trying to hear Byron spout of one cliché after another when asked what he has against the kids would be pure comedy gold.

No excuses. Nobody in their right mind thought this was a 13 win team coming into the season. Nobody. That's about what we're on pace to win. Keep the losing up, Byron, I don't want you here next year.

Can't read now (edit...OK just read) and immediate knee jerk is ..... OH HELL YEAH!!!!! ... for what I hope and all logic in the universe ..... says should be happening. You dumb f*** with this moronic 2nd string reduced minutes for our young guys who are lighting the league up amongst their peers. You pull that kind of CRAP with no effing dialog with them at all and just smirk and say it's ok ... they're big boys. Rip him a new one Jim and Mitch.

It's about time the front office do something. This has gotten absurd, and if they don't do anything and Boron continues his Boronic ways, we will call for more heads, not just Boron's.

Did you guys not read this part though?

"While many fans have called for Scott to be fired, that still doesn’t seem to be the case as Medina also notes that both Kupchak and Buss sympathize the situation that Scott is in:

“The Lakers are not happy with the persistent losing, obviously. But Kupchak and Buss sympathize with Scott on handling what one team source called “a no-win situation.”"

That's not what I wanna hear personally, that's excuses being made for a guy who doesn't deserve them. They are right about one thing though in a way, he is almost in a no-win situation, as he has almost NO WINS. This team isn't great, but they aren't 3 wins bad, they have talent enough to hover around .500. I don't want to hear about sympathy for him, as his rotations/not playing youth enough, lack of real offensive or defensive systems, and enabling of Kobe is what has gotten the team to this point and had fans calling for his job.

I read that. It made me think of the 'innocent bystander' phrase I read a week ago. I hope it doesn't justify keeping him on next year when we clearly need an upgrade.

That said, I still think we finish with about the same record as last season, Byron underachieving with this current roster, and us mutually parting ways with him.

Who the f*** is that guy anyway on Boron's left?? Does he have a resume worthy of being on an NBA bench? Let me guess. Byron wants him to man up .... over achieve?

That is Jimmy Ian. I believe he was an assistant under Riley or Dunleavy when they were coaching the Lakers. His role under Boron? Who knows.

I totally agree, Weezy. This, while comforting because it will mean more Russell and Randle, scares me a bit because what if they start winning here and there IN SPITE of Byron, which with the talent the two of them along with Clarkson have, is entirely possible. It's starting to seem like you can just roll the ball out there and Randle will figure out a way to get 15 and 10. If last night was Russell unleashed, then he is definitely going to win some games for us. Then next season, guess who will be the head coach of the Lakers again because he "helped develop the kids."

And for f---s sake. Where in the blue hell is Tarik Black? I mean seriously?!?!? Sacre over Black?!? Did Tarik pork Boron's wife, mistress, daughter and mother?
