It's not just about wins. If you watch them play you see schemes, plays ran, exploits, rotations, adjustments. Then you watch the Lakers and it's a pile of crap.

The rookies on those teams also have a longer leash and are actually contributing to the team. Their coaches trust them. They'd rather they learn on the floor instead of playing mind games with them.

at this point, what's going to happen if they fire byron?

we all know if they do, the next coach they hire will be just as bad or worse. this organization is incompetent when it comes to hiring a coach who is a good fit for whatever the current group is

I think i'll stop posting for a while. All im thinking can only be described by words that will be ******* either way. Never in my life did i swear as much as i do now, can't realy watch a Lakers game without taking it out on a brand new tv. Scott is a r*****. He's there but i don't think he's watching the game played. We would be better off without a coach.

I believe they have to learn from their mistakes at some point. I refuse to believe they're gonna make bad hire after bad hire and at this point he cannot get any worse than Byron Scott.

My timehop from one year ago had a tweet I had complaining about running zone vs. a 3 point shooting team. Sigh here we are a year later and it still hasn't changed. This guy is a loser.

Consistent trend this season - Inability to produce a solid rotation, leaving bench in too long, running zone, complete failure in modern day basketball.

Can you imagine, we're getting rid of Boron and hire... Mike Dunlevy. I would stop following Lakers.

I get why we can't fire Byron right now. But can't the FO at least give him some direction, like "stop playing Bass at 5"? I mean it's just asinine and our bench, which I absolutely thought would be one of our strengths, gets destroyed every night because of the weird lineups. It seems very fixable.

Fire Scott, make Kobe the coach, nothing to lose, and who knows, it could work out. Intelligence plus toughness is what Kobe is all about.

with jim buss in charge, it would be a shock to me if they actually made a good hire

the talent is there in this group and it's clear byron can't get them to utilize it

We could get a good coach. Randle looks like a beast. Clarkson is looking more and more like he's an all-star caliber sg and Russell has shown signs of brilliance...and he's 19 for goodness sake. There are several coaches who would be drooling over this foundation. Man, it sucks when I'm jealous of the C-bags, but Brad Stevens would have this team close to .500.

Lou, off the ball? NOOO, you don't say!

Wishful thinking I'd say, unless he has been commanded from the FO.
