Another week of this and they will look even more foolish for not. Bad spot for them to be in. No one could have predicted he would be this bad.

Byron can't be an usher. He would have to unfold his arms to show people their seats. lol

I hope Scott is fired after this season. There's no way any premier free agent will want to play under this guy.

I just want to say that I was ADAMANTLY against this hire from the get-go. On CL I was dreading this hire. I say that not for the "I told you so" aspect, but to show what I am about to say isn't some knee-jerk reaction. Byron Scott is the worse coach the Lakers have had in my lifetime. I was born in 1979. Rudy T was better. Magic was better. Mike Brown was legitimately better. Byron is making D'Antoni look like a genius. What we are experiencing isn't just a coach making this current team bad. His insistence on playing average to below average vets over the youngin's who are the ONLY hope this franchise has of improving, is going to potentially ruin this team going forward for YEARS. I have seen enough in Russell to know he has game. Clarkson and Randle are going out there and succeeding IN SPITE of Byron, not because of him. If it were up to Byron, Kobe and Lou would be taking all our shots. Get him out of here. Go after Luke Walton. The Warriors would let him talk to us. They aren't going to block an assistant from getting a head coaching position, especially with a team that is not a threat.

I fully see the logic in peoples post that byron wont be fired till the end of the season. But I still have to say we cannot wait.. He needs to go now, yesterday. His coaching and leadership is like a snake bite. It is poisoning the entire franchise. The longer we wait for treatment the worse it will be. I have never witnessed anything close to this bad in any sport ever. We r setting new standards for ineptness daily. The embarrassment and damage being done can't be overstated. He has to go now.

Seriously...looking at that picture, who are the guys in suits? Only one I recognize is Madsen. Kobe having to take the reigns...puh-thetic.

What are we paying this man to do? Stand there on the sideline, fold his arms, act like he's coaching? Our staff is pretty pathetic just look at that picture. Madsen looking on behind Coach Kobe. The other guy behind Kobe (don't know his name) looking clueless into the crowd. Phil Pressey (I think) doing whatever hes doing behind everyone.

    Please make it stop.

    This offense is straight garbage.

    - Mainly ISO
    - No spacing
    - Multiple times guys ran their guy into a drive Julius was making and created a cluster eff.
    - Posting up Bass multiple times? He's a pick and pop PF.
    - Lou? Does this dude not have a leash? We are really sitting DAR for this?
    - DAR and JC will make an attempt to run the offense and get a good shot, but one has to be sitting so 50% of our playmaking is collecting splinters.
    - Randle had Deron Williams on him one play and no one made an attempt to get him the ball or post him up. C'mon people, pick up basketball 101.
    - Minimal easy buckets

Switching Lou onto Dirk multiple times. Like it's Dirk, if you can't get around the screen on slo-motion what are you doing? It looked like a coaching move with how easy it was happening.

Teams exploit the living piss out of our weaknesses. I have yet to see us consistently take another team's weakness and exploit it. We play the other team's game all game long because we don't have a plan of attack ever.

    Playmakers - DAR, JC, Randle
Spot up shooters - Lou, Young and to a lesser sense Kobe in mid-range

Why is it that the ball is in the spot up shooters hands more than the playmakers? Just asinine. Spread the floor, run some got damn high pick and roll using Randle/Hibbert with our playmakers and get this offense moving. It's not that hard.

If Byron could get that post and just do that we would be instantly a much improved team.. We never have a specialized plan for a team. At this point I just would like to see that we have some plan even if it never changes. I really can't stand watching Lou dribble around like crazy throwing up bad shots.
