I'm trying to fathom how or why they'd bring him back and I've got nothing. The all isolation offensive system. Not communicating with players instead calling them out in the media. The horrible rotations. Not playing young guys until late in the season consistently. Not teaching defense instead just telling players to man up or asking if they've been in a fight. He has no accountability for himself or veteran players. I mean if they do this they just don't care about winning anymore. Other coaches are getting fired who are loads better than Byron. Everyone knows the dude can't coach and yet he's still employed.

Only way I'll forgive ownership for keeping Byron would be if we somehow convinced Durant to sign here in spite of it.

If he's kept I'm out unless we still manage by some crazy mirracle to sign 2 or 3 top free agents. I'm not watching a horrible roster win 12 games next season while the youngsters continue to stuggle under this clown. We somehow sign DeRozan and Whiteside or something like that, and get a top 2 pick and take Simmons or Ingram or trade the pick for another very good player, I'm not watching. I love the Lakers, but I'm not putting up with keeping a coach like B0ron and continuing to do damage to the franchise, it's youth, that may be irreversible. I watched all this season because I wanted to see how Russ and Randle developed and because I knew any Kobe game could be his last with one injury. Well, I'm not tuning in next season with no Kobe, and to watch these kids suffer again under B0ron. Keep B0ron, and you watch those ticket sales falter, watch those tv ratings drop. Kobe saved your a** this season, if they're smart, they fire B0ron to save it next season, or they're in for a big reality check/wake up call.

Kobe was literally their last hope of tv viewership. You think fans are going to tune in every single night for these kids under Byron's restrictive offense? F*** no. No one is going to watch their channel. They're going to lose sponsors quickly and their ticket sales will plummet. The last three years without Kobe, ticket prices dropped a significant percentage. Fans in LA don't pay to watch teams lose. It won't happen.

Sirron doin' work. :Headbang:They all are smart enough to understand the chance the FO is taking with all those fans on the right if they bring this tool back again. Have enough people on twitter use that hashtag when they tweet about the Lakers, Bryon, or anything really.

Looks to me like the F.O. is going right along with Byron's excuse.. which was Kobe all season. As if Kobe stopped anybody on the team from evolving and progressing.

I don't think he's going anywhere until the Lakers are in the bottom 4 teams of the league 10 games into the new season.

I'm listening to this Byron exit interview and... boy you guys aren't going to like what he's got to say. Quickly:

    The Bad:
    1. He thinks he's smarter than all the media pundits/fans put together, so our criticisms mean nothing.
    The Good:
    1. He hasn't gotten assurances he'll be back as coach.

Shocking. Byron still doesn't think any of this is on him.

Us fans are idiots. He knows everything. He does no wrong.

Mitch said "Byron did a great job the last two seasons considering the circumstances."

The f*** are you watching Mitch? Please get the f*** out too.

38 wins in two seasons is doing a good job really? I'm done with Mitch. Done with Jim. Done with everyone. This kind of incompatence we just don't deserve this s***. We watch all these games, put up with all this Bs from this season and this is what we get in return? What a f***ing joke. What a disgrace? I mean how could they do this to us? How? We all love and adore this team and even in lost seasons are supporting them through thick and thin like true fans and all that loyalty isn't being paid enough.
