In all honesty, this Kobe performance may save Scott's job. So much positive energy right now and love everywhere after last night. It may be like what happens in college football when the interm coach wins the bowl game or a big rivalry game and everyone is so happy and they rush to make him permanent.

OH. And another thing Boron..... was it my imagination in that 2nd half and when Kobe was clearly getting gassed ..... the this mensa left timeouts on the table he could have used to give Kobe a break in some of those spots?

^^^ I like it. But it could be more graphic and even better with motion like the scope sniper shots. He's earned it to go out that way. (Just like Kobe earned his perfect ending) :Jacksnicker:

There's too much smoke for this not to be a possibility at this point and f*** how sad is it? There's too much turmoil to get a clear sense of what to do with him?

What turmoil? Jeanie if you really think Byron is the right coach for this team, then you're not the right owner for this team. Period.

If this dude is brought back, and all the coaching candidates are gone, I still think Luke remains in GS. I don't think he's leaving. So, if I'm trying to be optimistic, I think we'll have a chance to grab Luke next season. Now, if Luke wants to stay in GS or go to another team, we go hard after Ollie. In essence, Luke then Ollie if you're planning on keeping Byron next year.

Luke next season is not worth another year with b0ron (and i LOVE Luke). I rather go after Thibs, Ollie, Brooks... hell, anyone, just to get rid of this sad excuse of a "coach".

That WOJ article was just perfection. I'm not going to worry about Boron for a while. He sucks, worst coach we've ever had (and that's saying something coming after D' Antoni), but I will hope the Lakers do the right thing later this offseason.

If he's back, I'm not tuning in until he's gone. Now that Kobe's officially gone, even though we're still riding that high, it's time to come to the brutal realization that we're in very a long, messy process that probably won't improve until a stick of TNT is placed on the bench and the FO.

The question is "Why!?"...if so. Is the Laker brass seeing something we all are not? SMH...

There is no logical reason to bring him back. No one can name a single positive thing he has accomplished.
