Maybe we should get a bunch of us together to go to a Clippers game. We all can wear T-Shirts that say "Clippers fan until Byron is fired" I have a feeling that would get on TV if enough of us did it.

"Like a father raising his son." When bball players from the 80s and earlier say this, they mean, "He's beating the s*** out of him."

I was thinking the same thing. Looking at this roster, there is no reason that we couldn't be a playoff team this season seeing as Portland is sitting in the 8th spot a couple games below .500. The season got railroaded early by Kobe and his gunner shenanigans. But instead of working rotations out around that so when the sencond half rolled around our kids would have experience, we continue to get blown out by 20 with seemingly new lineup combinations every night. Every game I watch I honestly feel like I'm seeing a brand new 5 man combination. With the good health we've experienced so far this year, that shouldn't be happening. If only it weren't for those damn fox holes.

It's very raw talent ... and when it comes to D our roster is full of players who can't defend to save their life so I have no problem with his take .

As for Portland , the Blazers have one of the best duos in the league in the pts category .

I think 30-32 wins could have been a realistic target with a competent coach for us .. not enough defense to have a 14-15 season ala Utah

When I look at the roster I see a lot of potential, raw talent. Sure we may not be a playoff team, but to have 10 wins at this point is just pathetic. The team has enough talent to probably have double that total easily with competent coaching.

I'm surprised nobody has posted about Byron's comments regarding Russell and Randle today....isn't it curious timing that he's suddenly complimentary of Russell and Randle? A few days ago, Russell was too cocky and "trying to take over the game" or whatever...and now he's "getting it"? I think that Scott is going to play it really safe the rest of the way and start complimenting Russell more and more....hopefully that also means he's going to be PLAYING 35+ mpg...I'm curious who Scott will send back to the bench though. It better be LOU.

I can't stand the Brothers K. A player could be cocky as a way of overcompensating for insecurities. That's how a player could be too cocky and too fragile. Not saying it's true here, just that it's possible.

Draft pick in danger lol. We're such a mess. We looked terrible while winning, but now two victories in a row.

Oh f*** me. Seriously that is 3 times in last 4 weeks or so I didn't bother to check the paper or on line as to whether or not there was a game on today/tonight, as other stuff was going on with the family. Have to run off to Yahoo sports page for the "box" scores and totals. I guess I could thank Boron for my indifference and lack of being pissed off about it all that much. Yay .... go Boron! ......errr...... go die somewhere Boron.

Boron almost lost us the game by taking out Russell when he did in the fourth. I knew he would reinsert Lou and when he did they went on a run and cut it very close. Kobe got us over. Not Boron who did what he could to give it away.

He has a job to do, but Kobe wouldn't be denied.

Kobe better not be saving bYRON's job. That would be below average.

I can't believe I'm typing this. Byron praised one of our young players (JC), saying that if he continues to work hard, he could be an all-star caliber player in a couple of years.

    http://www.dailynews.com/sports/201...yants-recent-efficiency-to-decreased-workload

"“Hopefully in the next couple of years, he keeps progressing,” Scott said. “When it’s his fourth or fifth year in this league, hopefully he’s one of those guys that you can look at as possibly being an All-Star.”

George Karl would be a huge upgrade over Boron.
