A.C still a vergin? Still walking around with his green teddy bear? Your opinion matters as much, as every ex-Laker that played with b0ron.
If my dad was anything like b0ron, one of us would be dead by now.

...dark times, dark humor. We as a fanbase will get through this. I hope it won't be an extended period of Clipperesque proportions.

If it truly is like a father raising his son... How would that father-son relationship work? Tell him he can't go out and play with his friends and not give him a reason why? The son is too afraid to ask why cause he might get his a** whipped? Then when the father finally takes him to a birthday party, he explains to the other parents that he doesn't let him out cause he's not old enough? Then the son, ashamed, tells the other kids that he doesn't get to play with them cause he isn't old enough?

Mason of Mason and Ireland went off on Byron today - that was cool to hear. He was saying he should be fired at the end of the year without question and that in no way is he the right guy to attract free agents or to coach the young guys going forward. It was interesting to hear the mouth of Sauron . . . er, the FO, John Ireland seemed to give their thinking away. He said that what if (in other words, the FO think . . .) the Lakers kept Boron for one more year and hire Luke the following season as Luke doesn't want to leave GS in a lurch in case Kerr's back issues reoccur and he is once again called on to HC for a segment of the season. That he may feel he owes them that loyalty after getting the chance he got this year. Mason of course was saying just go after him this summer and would he really turn down that opportunity? Ireland kept going back to Walton the following season.

I'll tell you for a fact that this corroborates what I heard months ago that the FO was thinking of Luke not this offseason but the next. That might be why we are hearing all of this horse manure about keeping Boron for one more year to fill out his contract. Personally I find the very thought to be horrifying . . . but now I think at least I know why they are feeding us this crap and why I heard before (and now again) that they want to bring him in the following summer. That would really suck if so. I can't take another year of this. I just can't. I don't think we would get any good FA's either going that route. Who would want to play for this imbecile?

It's what Kellerman has started saying too which tells me they're prepping us for that eventuality. I'm not going to be happy with that at all. I'm going to be extremely upset if we have Byron at the helm again. Kellerman kept saying," Why not see what Byron can do?"

And all I could think was: isn't what we're seeing NOW what he can do? What's the difference? I don't understand the point. What are we seeing now if it's not what Byron can do?

If Byron is back again next year, I'm handing over my Lakers card until the day he's fired.

I have ALWAYS loved MacLean. Not joking. I love his no nonsense attitude throughout the years on PMS. He calls it like it is EVERY TIME. Sometimes it stings because he's ripping the Lakers, but he's not being a troll. He just calls it like he sees it as a person with zero rooting interest.

That's the same article from before, but it's still glorious. I love it.

Nobody on ESPN 710 besides Mason has the balls to say these things. Everyone is too scared to say what needs to be said. I love that someone is saying it.

I won't be watching if he's still the coach next year. We won't get any free agents with him here, the bargain bin vets will be playing over our young studs.

Eff that noise. I got better things to do.

^I'm not watching this team anyway. So if Byron is back, nothing really changes.

Luke won't be a savior. Without free agents, this team isn't going anywhere, no matter who the coach is.

I am now openly rooting for us to lose every single remaining game this season. I want B0ron to have the absolute worst record as Lakers coach, and be fired in disgrace. The kids already can't stand him, they aren't going to develop, I'm already not watching games, if he's not fired I will not watch next season either. I won't stand for this BS as a fan, it's incompetence on the part of the FO to levels I never thought I'd see. We've got more evidence that B0ron deserves to be fired than we could ever hope to have, he doesn't deserve any more of a "trial" period or another season. FML if that actually happens.

If Byron is retained for one more year, I'm taking a season's worth vacation from this forum and just chill in the Open Discussion with you fine folks. The collective outrage from all of us here has reached near-nuclear levels from this pile of poo for a coach. I don't want to see what it will do to us next season. My brain and Laker heart for sure won't be able to handle it.

It's sad that I don't even care about watching Kobe's final games because of Byron's terrible coaching.

    Pretty much hate you bYron.

Yep. Depsite Boron being there, by FO claims, to juggle KFT with development - he ruined BOTH.

We need a new word for "incompetence".
