Eh, I am not sure I understand this, but maybe we're not done yet. Or maybe it's simply Wagner+Zubac.

So now that Brook is gone, Lakers might still need a starting Center. The only good free agent Centers are left are Greg Monroe, Jahlil Okafor, Alex Len, Larry Sanders. Pick one.

you really think lebron is going to run at the 5? he's been resistant to heavy minutes at pf in the past, though that does seem to be changing.

we didn't have one year at the BAE to offer?

    no.

there were two good centers left a couple days ago, and both went for less than we had to offer.

We had more than what he got so the Lakers didn't want him back.

And yes I believe LeBron would play smallball 5 against the Warriors vs. Durant and Green.

At this point I expect us to run with McGee to start and then use our other youngsters in some combination with Zubac, Wagner, and other small ball options. I'd have preferred Lopez stay, but let's see where this goes. So far this summer has been a wild success.

Good for Brook. I hope he does well in Milwaukee. I'm upset we let him go AT THAT price (1-year BAE).

What do you mean zero shooters and not even the point. Size and Strength when needed down low is though.

Can’t leave wide open - KCP, Hart, Svi, Kuzma, Lebron, Wagner

Can’t leave wide open for other reasons - McGee

    Question marks - Ball, Ingram

We will be fine in the shooting department. If one of Ball/Ingram shoots above average we won’t have issues.

Well, this sucks. Bad fit for Brook because Milwaukee uses Giannis a lot at the 5.

Lopez may be slow but McGee for most of the minutes? Really? Not diggin' it since he is our biggest body...

Zubac just got a vote of confidence? Latter better have his s**t together.

I wasn't a BLo fan, but I simply don't believe Javelle and Zubac can play major minutes with success. Mo Wagner can possibly stretch the court, but expecting him to be ready on a playoff team and succeed is asking a lot. We shall see.

I was hoping to have him back. So far the GOAT and Kobe's former agent have given me 0 reasons to doubt them. We'll see how this plays out.

I don’t get this at all. I felt like Lopez was the type of competent starting center to ensure this was a playoff team, and to help keep us steady for a long playoff run. We’re really going to rely on McGee, Zu, and Mo as centers? I know the game has gone small, but again, we aren’t the Warriors in that we have Curry, Klay, Durant, and Green and can trot out someone off the street at the 5 and win. I really hope Rob and Magic have an actual plan and didn’t let Brook walk on accident.
