Ingram and Lopez are starting to build a chemistry with their high pick and roll offense. It sets up Ingram for the mid range or straight drives. Giving Lopez the ball eats up what...10 seconds off the play clock since he is so deliberate. He does have a decent back to basket game with those jump hooks and flip shots. It is better too since our transition defense is more suited with our forwards and guards getting back instead of Lopez camping out at the three point line.

That’s what I’m saying. We’re getting off to slow starts offensively, and I think Lopez being used better could help that.

We need to go to Brook in the post early in the game, get our offense going a bit from the starters. Unfortunately he's suffering from our lack of a half court system, kind of like Mozgov last year.

I'm just really unclear what we are trying to do on offense with our starters. It's not working very well whatever it is. Each game they struggle to get points. That's why I've been in favor of inserting at least Kuzma if not both Kuz and Randle to get more scoring options.

We need to do more pick and pops with Lopez and Lonzo or Lopez and Ingram.

Also, we need to do more post-ups for Brook but with a lineup that features shooters (KCP, Ingram, Kuzma and Clarkson). That way he has more room to operate.

Not a good 2nd half. No sense of urgency. Makes the game too difficult. Tallest on the court, but afraid of having his shot blocked, so he makes shots more difficult than they need to be. Where's that 3 ball we were told about?

No love. I thought he started the game well. When he's on, he's our best big by a wide margin. I missed the start of the second half, but I know our lead started disintegrating towards the end of the 2nd.

I must have missed something bad because i liked his start.

    Big. Weak.

Love to see Zubac start to dominate the old dogs in practice to the point they have to start playing him.

I realized watching Brook is that we don't need a spread the floor lumbering big man, we need an athletic young anchor like DeAndre, Capella, Gobert type of player to gobble rebounds and put back, setting good screens, communicating. Brook is just too slow for what we're trying to do

Five 3 pointers in 6 games. How did he average 2 a game last year?

I like Brook, but he’s just too slow defensively and he isn’t spacing the floor offensively.

    Start Kuzma & Randle.

They're really not putting him in positions to succeed.
