Brook is going to surprise so many people out here. There's an outside shot he makes an All-Star team playing in LA if the team surprises early. He was wasting away on that Brooklyn team, but the added three point shot makes him a pretty much perfect fit for this squad. To get him back for Russell/Mozgov's deal is pretty incredible. I'm excited to see what he brings.
You read my mind. I'm in line with what you're thinking; he's the best player we've had on our squad in 3-4 seasons, IMO. I'm legitimately excited about him.
The only problem with him making the All Star team is this garbage about 3 Forwards/Centers instead of a Center and 2 Forwards voted in.
I think he can make it as a reserve. I don't think Deandre is getting selected this year. Problem is that Jimmy Butler and Paul George are in the west now and Jokic, KAT and Lillard are competing for a spot too. But I still think that he has a solid chance if everything goes well.
I just posted that...that's what Pincus is saying on LG. I wouldn't mind that. He's an All-Star Caliber 5, IMO. He fits what we do...
I gave the article a like for once it got going about Brook but thought the author at the start was making a lot of assumptions and some statements that were questionable.
Yes, I would say in evaluating the Laker's "bad but gifted" roster that listing "once-crafty veterans" (Deng, Brewer) who Captain Obvious says "may no longer have any use in a winning enviroment" yet managing to completely leave off SL star Kuzma, Zuback and Hart whom will all see more play than the previous two shows the writer to a bit ignorant of who's actually playing on the team this year.
