i'd like to see his length end in a couple more boards per game. that's my only real gripe. he's starting to knock in open shots, and it will take a year or two for him to figure out how to craft the rest of his offensive game. right now, he just gets bumped off his shots. he'll figure out how to better keep his balance and where the open spots on the floor will be.

He can't create separation the way he will need to yet. That is a skill he will need to master eventually. Aggressiveness is confidence. Both are skill sets he will eventually get. His FT have improved by 21% from college. His defense is already good. I'd say, when he is legally able to drink, he should make his first all star team.

really just needs to get his shot under control especially that out-of-control runner grab a few more boards and keep working on the D, It'll get there.

Shooting numbers are low, but I'll take it. He'll be getting a lot of minutes this month.

I'm all for playing within the system but this guy needs to step it up with all the injuries we have.

Go 1/20 for all I care but I want to see him aggressive in getting his own shots. As hot as Lou has been we can't win on his back alone.

Not really convinced other than some nice defense at times. Offense needs a whole lot of work, he's getting the opportunity.

Dang, I was going to poke fun at the nickname and change it to skinny dog.

Looked up pictures of google, and that's not funny. It's just really sad.

    :DNO2:

Great opportunity for experience for BI that will pay dividends in coming years. We know this is a throw away year. If we make the playoffs, it will be a shocker and a great story. However, we need not to do it at the expense of developing our young guys.

Big Picture is what matters here.

I just saw the stats posted on 82games. Ingram's (SF numbers - where he's played the bulk of his minutes) offensive numbers aren't good - he has a PER of 10.8 - but his defensive numbers are absurd. Opponents have a 6.9 PER.

Good stuff. I think he can be a top 5 defensive player in this league.

    By comparison...

Player / Main Position / Opponent PER
    Paul George SF 14.9
    Chris Paul PG 13.8
    Kawhi Leonard SF 13.6
    Iggy SF 12.7
    Avery Bradley SG 12.2
    Jimmy Butler SG 9.2

Draymond Green's opposition has a 25.2 PER at PF and 31.4 at C.

Is there any possibility of stealing Bradley from the C Bags?

Bradley and Ingram at the 2 and 3....

Anyone else starting to get slightly concerned about his offensive game?

His moves and handles and aggressiveness are coming along great. Gotta feel at some point the Js will start dropping with more consistency.

If I don't see serious progress next season, then ya. But he gets a pass this year from me.

But the bar he has set this season offensively is so low, that anything except a major improvement would be concerning.

It's a mix of not knowing what a good NBA shot is for him and awkward offensive game ... His body balance/technique on his shots whether there are at the rim or J's needs a lot of correction
