Lakers found out he ain't what they're looking for so they're moving on. They have already signed the real gem of the draft: ZUBLOCKA!

Ya I think the Lakers are disappointed with his 3 point shooting percentage during summer league.
So they don't want to lock themselves into a lengthy contract. They moved on.

I mean what's the deal, if lakers make a trade and they reach the max CBA amount for this year, do they earn an exception to sign rookies/Your RFA?

Obviously there's some or atleast a single reasoning behind it.

It's just to preserve cap space. I'm sure they're waiting for some shoe to drop (I'm guessing Westbrook? I don't really know). That doesn't necessarily mean WE get the big piece, but we might be able to help facilitate a deal where someone else gets the big guys and we scoop up some picks/prospects in the process.

It might also be as simple as debating whether or not to take a shot at someone like Harkless who is restricted and doesn't fit, but clearly has some talent.

By not signing Ingram right away we preserve a little more cap room, same with Black. I don't know who/what we're looking for, but there's obviously something cooking. For some reason I can't help shaking the feeling that it's Harkless even though he's not an ideal fit.

lolz. Back to Ingram, would yall trade him along with Clarkson for Cousins or Westb?

Just curious where yall value of him is at.
