    ^I dunno man. It would have been better than just sitting him and playing him 15-20 minutes.

    I think they would have if our young players were enticing enough. There is a reason they weren't tempted. If they had rated Ingram as high as Tatum, they probably would have done that deal.

    Don't get me wrong...I'm happy BI is balling. If we are going to re-visit this trade, it can't hurt for Ingram to finish strong. And I like him as a player and as a person.

    But missing the playoffs is the biggest failure which overshadows anything positive.

    This is the best stretch of his career as far numbers go right? That means he’ll be a salary dump at the draft I assume. Can’t afford to pay him in a year and a half, need that cap space for a hypothetical player.

    i don't want to be the dark cloud here, because ingram has really come on of late--but notice that list is a bunch of bigs (and jordan--whose numbers dwarfed BI's) or more importantly--guys who didn't shoot threes. it's why the oddly arbitrary fg% probably keeps the list from being huge. 17/5/3 by itself at age 21 probably isn't elite company.
