That's semantics. The idea is the same.

Also, after all the me-me-me movement from DAR, JC, Lou, Nick, IT and all the rest of the morons, I'd like to not relive it.

I like this new firery version of BI, just hope his talking equals to his actions on the court. I really hope he does reach that star status potential this season. Also why not start both Ingram and kuz?

    Zo
    Ingram
    LeBron
    Kuz
    McGee

    And off the bench

    Rondo
    Lance/kcp
    Hart
    Svi/Beasley
    Wagner/Williams

And this is why I said he should earn that starting spot back. Sit down and prove it Ingram. Outplay Kuzma tonight and then you'll get it. But to just start him with this attitude after he screwed up is the wrong message, Luke. Dial it back a little BI.

I'm probably wrong on this since nobody else seems to have understood it like that, but... To me it sounded like Ingram was informing the reporter about his starting role (i.e. he knows he's starting cause coach told him so) and not being cocky.

If he was being cocky, I don't mind more of that coming from him per se, but that was poor form, at the expense of a teammate at that.

Having said that, I expect a great game from Brandon. Hope he really did observe Kuz out there and we're about to see much more off-ball action from him going forward. He has all the tools necessary.

I'd do a Bi/KCP fo Beal trade if Was throws in a lottery pick in return :).....I'm gona admit after these 2 spurs game, i was wrong for not wanting and clowning on DD, I dont even think Ingram can peak out like Derozen at this point.

If only DeMar didn't turn into a frightened kitten every fricking PO, he would be a great player. He has yet to prove he can handle the pressure of games when it really matters.

Nah, you weren’t wrong, the Raptors got swept and embarrassed by LeBron and a roster with probably less talent than the one he has now. DeRozan got benched, he’s a playoff choker, and we don’t yet know how Ingram would perform in the playoffs.

could've just been poor coaching as well, the way DD has been attacking AND distributing this yr is somewhat different, he's avg. almost 8asst/gm right now.

It doesn’t matter how bad the coaching is, no real superstar flames out in the playoffs year in and year out like Demar. If he figures it out, then good for him, but the current narrative is accurate.

Can we give the man some props for shutting down Luka with his length...? Luka was scoreless through 4 quarters and eventually picked it up a little when someone else was guarding him.
