He forced everyyyyyythiiiiinggggg first 3 quarters. One of his makes in the fourth too. IMO he tried to overuse his length because he CAN get away with it&he knows that.

Just has to be more smart with his decision making, let's cheers to his fourth quarter& development going forward.

Well he is an 18 year old kid with immense pressure to "save" the most storied franchise in the NBA.

He isn't even 19. He will have ups and downs on his way up. I think he just wants to please the fans and its hard to be effective without patience. He will be fine, just remember Russell last year. He was flat out terrible in the SL.

SL is more free flowing because teams haven't had too many practices. I think some of these college guys (especially coach K players) struggle with not having a well organized offense/defense.

Honestly he barely had touches. They need to involve him more. I felt like brown was more involved than Ingram

He is going to struggle against bigger, stronger defenders at times. As mentioned, he's 18, he's skinny as hell, he will need to adjust. And when he does, star potential. Simmons deserved to go 1 from everything I've seen, he's practically a walking triple double, but for THIS team, I'd still rather have Ingram. We don't need another point forward that can't shoot, we need a smooth shooter like Ingram is, and the defense he brings with his length.

Seemed to struggle with a more physical play this game, which is expected. I did like how he still shot with confidence (making most) in the 4th despite the poor start. I so wanted that last 3 to go in though...

I guess he struggles in back to back games. Obviously a bust.

Ben Simmons shot was ugly in warm-ups.

Yeah BI wasn't really that involved or aggressive this game. Hit some clutch shots toward the end. Hardest thing in the NBA is consistency, and this will come with time.

BI stepped on the 3pt line on one of his makes, no need for concern, he has a great touch but still a kid.

I dont know why some have need to hate on Simmons, I think he'll be great and his shot will come eventually. Honestly I would've taken Simmons at #1 as well. Those passing skills are ridiculous, imagine this guy paired with Russell, with the amt of motion this offense has he could be racking up asst more so then being in Phi. Russell would kill it offensively if he had Simmons creating for him. This isn't to say I'm not happy with Ingram but I dont see the need to hate on Simmons to justify Ingram selection, we HAD to pick Ingram.

^^^ I think we've all recognized Simmons is an elite passer and has tons of potential. Commenting or laughing at his inability to shoot doesn't mean we hate him.

My only complaint of Ingram right now is him not being aggressive enough. I'd like to see the team make a concerted effort to get him more involved. So many times down the court where he doesn't touch the ball.

The weaknesses of the Top 2 prospects were glaringly obvious. Simmons can't shoot and Ingram is too thin. Jerami Grant was giving Ingram all sorts of problems. He needs to bulk up and work on his athletism/explosiveness. He also needs better handles and craftiness if he ever wants to score like KD. The potential is there but this game confirmed that Luol will be starting.

Thought he looked good in his first outing. It looks like the game comes very easy for me. Definitely a smooth operator. Loved the D and the two swats. He has very high potential to be a great two way player. I think he has much higher defensive potential than Simmons.

Hopefully the 5k calorie diet will help him add some weight soon. No concerns about weight training, he's a hard worker...he'll add lean bulk over time. At his age and the speed of his metabolism, maybe he needs to spend off days at the buffet and swing by In N Out after home games.

Game 2 was ugly for everyone for the first 28 minutes. Had a nice couple sequences in the 4th.

Let's see what game 3 has in store for him as a bounce back.

i think it's obvious that simmons should have been the #1 pick. but i will say that if he were playing for the lakers, espn would be talking about his lack of scoring more than his excellent passing.
