I'll just ease my foot off the accelerator for a moment and remind that this was SPL and Ingram was playing against a bunch of borderline NBA talents. We probably need to see a bit more of him before jumping to conclusions.

I think it's safe to say he will be an NBA player for a while. That is a glowing endorsement that I think we can safelyrics say. :)

More seriously he didn't do anything to put a ceiling on himself. He showed all the tools: defense, shot making, shot creating, and getting to the rim. He didn't do anything that would make us say, "he's great but..." which is a big win for him around at this stage. Let's see if he can repeat this performance.

i'm pretty sure deng will start, which is ok by me. my guess is deng will go down with some injury at some point (he's not young), and ingram will have a chance to take the job then.

well Phi fans already calling Simmons a 1st ballot HOF, dont see why we can't start calling Ingram at least borderline perenial all-star lol

He kinda reminds me actually of James Worthy with his deceptive athleticism.

You really don't expect him to do what he does l, but when he comes at you, you're like, where did that come from?

His dribble is about five feet high. It's hilarious to watch.

Ingram's spindly frame is a concern but that is the least of them. It is encouraging that he is being mentored by Jerry Stackhouse who was one of the toughest players in The League when he played. When they scrimmaged, you can best bet he did all the tricks he knew to try and throw Ingram off his game so he'll be prepared for this level.

He was at the 3 point line and literally took 3-steps for an easy lay up to the basket.

Once he gains 25 pounds of muscle on that frame and gets to 215, he's gonna be a major, major problem in this league.

Seems like a fresh Ingram jersey would be perfect to rep during summer time, especially since I don't wear tanks out&about haha.

So, if he keeps improving by the end of summer league. Do we start him&have Clark come off the bench?

He had a stinker in the 2nd game but it means nothing really.

He probably was overwhelmed playing against Simmons and trying too hard and the shots not falling.

But he also did some good things. Knowing how Russell struggled last year, I'm not surprised.
