Terrible showing by BI and he had a team worst -24 on the floor. He really needs to strengthen that core, cause he looks like he's in quicksand on his drives. If he ever gets those shoulders and ups like the Freak, then we're in BIzness.

However there is some hope, as long as BI continues to be a gym-rat.

    GA Year 1: 6.8p 4.4r 41.4%
    BI Year 1: 9.4p 4.0r 40.2%

    GA Year 2: 12.7p 6.7r 49.1%
    BI Year 2 (so far): 15.1p 4.8r 46.6%

BI's got a few more years to get there (the Freak is about to turn 23 and is in his 5th year while BI just turned 20 and is in his 2nd year), but the trajectory favors our expectations. Pair that with how BI is wired between the ears, and just give it a couple years...

Rough night especially offensively tonight for Ingram. 2 for 10? Ouch.

And only 50% on Ft's too.

Yeah. Kcp didnt do s*** offensively either. Along with the end of the 3rd quarter play, thats what cost us.

I can live with bad FG % but those free throw misses is the difference on being a consistent 20 pt scorer in the NBA

Milwaukee might be the only team with the length to bother Ingram. It was definitely interesting watching the difference between Ingram and Giannis. I think Ingram can be a different kind of beast. I don't think Ingram will ever have the aggressiveness Giannis has, but I also think Ingram will be a better shooter sooner than Giannis will.

The real crazy part is Giannis is only 2 years older than Brandon.

For what it's worth in early returns:

    GIannis at 20: 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.0 blocks, 49.1FG%, 15.9 3PT%, 31.4 minutes per game (81 games)
    Ingram at 20: 14.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks, 45.4FG%, 33.3 3PT%, 31.8 minutes per game (13 games)

Funny enough, I think Giannis was/is a bad free thrower shooter too.

giannis is still a bad shooter, really. he's obviously worked hard at it, but you can give him space. the gigantic difference between the two is strength. it's almost all the difference. i don't actually think giannis is that great a ballhandler or playmaker (he's decent at both). ingram can do that stuff. but no way could ingram have 10-12 catches on the low block a night like we saw giannis get last night. finishing with dunks, too.

He and Randle really need to practice free throws.

I think Giannis profiles as a super unique power forward until he learns to shoot. Ingram looks more like a shooting guard or small forward.

Ingram and Ball...our 2 best players are both absolutely abysmal from the line...thats a big issue as neither can be trusted with the ball in crunch time.

Very true. Luckily they are our two youngest too, so they have some time to get it up to speed but they will need to correct this absolutely.

Been up and down all season but this is the 3rd bad game in a row after a stretch of 3 really good games.

Yep he had really put together several good ones in a row, but he came crashing back down to the 20 something % shooting over the last few.
