Great stuff in here. Including some details on the Russell trade (and non-trade).

I'm now on board with the "untouchable" tag. Seeing how serious this kid is about his craft... He may genuinely be the next Kawhi Leonard. I'm sticking with him.

Good stuff guys.. A trustworthy personal assistant can go a long ways if theyre serious and your friend at the same time. Win-win for both sides. Lot more athletes should take note.

...what separates the ones who want to be great from the ones who think they're serious and end up average.

I'll take it. All day. The next Kawhi with Zo and PG and LeBron possibly coming next year? The mix would be perfect.

20 points a game? Ingram would have to more than double his ppg average from his rookie season.

    I'd be content with a 4 or 5 point a game increase.

Honestly I love Ingram, but he's probably 2-3 years away from being a 20 ppg scorer.

Also probably more shots to go around this upcoming season and Brandon being stronger to finish gimmies in the paint.

I get that man, but still that's a large increase.

Won't say it's impossible, but at the end of the day it really is not very relevant.

Whether Ingram averages 20 ppg, 15, 13 whatever the key is him maturing and growing as a player.

Based off what we saw at the end of the season, his lone appearance in Summer League, Lonzo effect as you mentioned, guys like KCP and Lopez with him in that starting unit I'm very confident Brandon will take a big leap this year.

I agree with what RD said earlier. This kid could've definitely be the next Kawhi. He's got that ability and talent.

I'd be more disappointed if Ingram does not take it upon himself to be the closer on the floor...

The odds are against him. I guess history isn't on his side as far as players making that much of a jump. But I do think his own personal growth and the addition of Lonzo and subtraction of D'Angelo will add a few points to his average. If he's in the 15 - 18 range I'd consider that a big leap forward.

I too expect him to be up around 18-20ppg. All he has to do is hit higher % of his shots and 3s than he did before the all star break last year. Opened up floor with Lonzo and Lopez and Luke's better executed system, he'll be stronger, better handles, per him completely changed mindset to dominate out there, better finisher at rim. There were times at the end of last season Brandon was already flashing "unstoppable". I see zero reason to expect only incremental or modest scoring improvement. Stackhouse still hard in his ear, Magic now as well and Kobe freaking Bryant one on one sessions still to come.

I don't like Magic's wording here. It's not "disappointing" if Ingram doesn't average 20 ppg. He should probably hire a PR guy to stand by him and tap him on the shoulder when he starts to say over the top stuff. I do think Ingram can and will average 20 ppg at some point though, or he wouldn't be "untouchable". That used to probably be more, but the league is very high scoring now, over 30 guys averaged 20+ ppg last season, so it's not totally crazy.

Without dlo, Lou and Nick who are volume scorers I can easily see Ingram averaging more than 20ppg also with the Lonzo effect I can see multiple players getting career highs in scoring and efficiency.

    Ball 9-13 points
    Kcp 13-19 points
    Ingram 17-22 points
    Randle 13-19 points
    Lopez 17- 22 points

And our bench last year averaged a league best 50.5 points per game, with Lou gone and kuz and possibly Rose in I still see us leading the league.

We're definitely going to be a high octane offense along with good to great efficiency.

Our weaknesses may be having a closer during closer games. That's where I hope Ingram will make a big jump as that leader.
