But this Ingram dude. He looked like a beast on both sides of the court, and he played hard. On the floor, heads up plays. High BBIQ. Love it.

His size will probably still be his weakness for one more season. Looking forward to 2018 when Ingram will be stronger/bigger.

Liked that emotion at the end of regulation when he got the steal and timeout, didn't see that at all last season save for that dunk.

@EJ1024 - I don't get it. Lonzo is a Laker now, what's the point about hating on him and wanting him to be a "mistake"?

Don't you want him to succeed and carry the team to a championship or are you hellbent on proving yourself "right" that he was a mistake and further the Lakers into mediocrity?

If that's the case, I wouldn't classify you as a "fan".

Ingram play Today? They say he's dealing with an injury and got pulled from OT last night.

A few quick points. Maybe people want him to be better than he will be. It's consistent with liking the Lakers, wanting a player to succeed, and thinking the player won't.

But in the end, so what if someone isn't a fan, by your definition? What if someone isn't a fan by any definition? As long as all can post respectfully, all are welcome.

Last I checked we needed 2 superstars. Ingram ver. 2018 and Paul George. We're good to go.

Totally agreed, but I didn't see respectful in this case. Telling someone to "STFU", insinuating you slept with their wife, childishly yelling "BALL IS A MISTAKE" after every post and throwing in the poop emoji. Not exactly respectful. Or up to the standards of this site.

Let's not overreact remember last year even some of us Lakers fans were claiming Ingram to be a bust, now look at him. Ball will be fine, I thought his playmaking was great, just a bad shooting day which he obviously knows and will be better. He also took blame for everything, he's a leader

I'm with you. I'm suggesting I'm doing it the right way, while others aren't.

I know it's just summer league but last night he was able to showcase a lot of the reasons he's considered a potential superstar.

Better asking here....ball was obvious choice due to all that came to be but how come no one considered tatum? Did we not think he wouldve fit in with ingram, being that theyre somewhat similar offensively?

I agree w/some of this - don't know Ingram will be a superstar, but I think he can be. I think Ingram makes a nice leap this year (similar to Kobe's 2nd year), and in his 3rd he'll take off right when we sign PG - 2-Way Players.

Where some might disagree is where I'd slot them - PG at the 3 and Ingram at the 4. Next year Ingram should be stronger physically, a year older, and maybe taller, and even right now, I'd try him there.

That does a couple of things - if Ingram's percentages come up from the 3-point line, it gives Ball optimal spacing to work with and takes the pressure off of him to create - both Ingram and PG can create their own shot if the offense stalls.

Defensively, both would be able to fly around the court, disrupting passing lanes, bother shots with they're length, have the ability to switch, and in some cases rim protection with Ingram's length.

    The fit can be beautiful.

2 summer league games. That's Tatum's resumé. 2 summer league games. Maybe too soon to start comparing him to guys that had entire NBA careers already, or questioning why he didn't go 2 instead of 3.

Ingram looked like he added a bit of bulk, although I won't expect anything major until another two years or more. Kind of hard for him considering he is still growing. Reports of him growing an inch or so definitely seem right, he looked like a giant out there. His height and skinny frame really makes him look even longer.

Just like you guys can see the passing is there with ball, the scoring ability is natural as well for tatum, he doesnt look like a rookie, even if its summer leagues, was just a question of fit not calling out the "savior"......and if you gona make that kind of statement kindly consider ball hype of calling him magic n bringing back showtime 2.0 before even yesterdays gm
