Sheed was by far the most gifted PF I have ever seen. Even more than Duncan. But his brain worked like Randy Moss too much. He didnt want it enough. If Sheed focused on being the man, he would have been a top 10 player and the best PF in NBA history. So, no. Sheed wasn't the 1.

You're arguing mental makeup which is why I agree he wasn't the team leader. But Rasheed was their leading scorer and their main offensive weapon. He was the #1 option on offense.

Nice aggression from Brandon last night. He and Zu were the only saving grace in that game. Love seeing this young man's confidence growing so much lately. He's finishing the season up very well.

OK. So the guy tied for 3rd on their team in scoring and second on their team in dimes was the number 1 option on offense?

Agree. I remember Phil Jax searching him out after Game 7 in 00 and telling him how much he respected his game.

Sheed and Webber had tremendous talent; Sheed was a headcase though and Webber started with microfracture surgery and ended with legal troubles. Too bad.

I felt the same way about Rasheed. He was an insane talent. He could have been one of the best players ever if he wanted it enough.

Luke wants Ingram to be more vocal.

I hope Luke's right. I just don't see Ingram as that kind of person. Maybe Luke knows something I don't. He tried asking D'Angelo to do the same thing earlier in the year.

I think maybe Luke and the team just wants to see exactly how far they can push him. To Russell's credit he's definitely more vocal today than he was at the start of the year. The words seem to wash off deaf ears, but he's talking out there especially on offense.

Ingram dealing with tendinitis in right knee. Probable for Friday.

I hope we end up keeping him if the Lakers start swinging for trades come draft time. The practical side of trading/keeping Ingram all depends on who we're taking back obviously. But the basketball fan in me just wants to see how his game develops. More so than the other young guys.

I don't think Ingram is the type of emotional leader every team needs.

Its good for Luke to give it a shot to see what is there but I highly doubt he will ever be "loud" in the locker room. He is too nice of a guy.

Rest him. Its his rookie season and he has played heavy minutes lately. Considering he was never played as many minutes and as many games, it makes no sense to force him to play with pain.

Also he would endanger our tankathon.
