i wasn't a fan, and portland sure isn't doing much to entice lillard into recommitting.

 

Dame wanted significant upgrades and they're essentially running it back.

Swapped out Collins for Zeller essentially
Added a fringe rosterable shooter with McLemore.

Again... are they trying to run him off? I guess they can still make a trade at some point to improve the roster. But they have to view their free agency so far as a disappointment.

 

I see it now. We're going to resign Schroeder and THT and dangle them for Lillard mid season.

 

they'll laugh, though. he's under contract, so they're going to get more than we can possibly offer. this isn't the AD situation, neither from an asset standpoint or a bargaining position.

we aren't getting lillard unless he tears something important.
