It's a helluva center rotation with (3) legit skilled 7'ers. Hopefully they do stay healthy. These guys have totally transformed the team in less than 6 months. It's freaking impressive. It's Magical.
The more I think about us getting this guy .... which is all the time now since we got him a couple days ago .... the more excited I am. He's a really smart and really good player and a great rim protecting and passing Big Man. Knows the system. Loves Luke. What a great f****** pick up.
It is freaking impressive. They got so much important stuff taken care of and knocked a number of those out of the park with how well they did. How do you like us now?
Who doesn't want that mentality from your NBA Big Man defending the rim? The link inside the link above: http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/170920-latest-laker-andrew-bogut?cid=tw I was referring to his hard nosed no nonsense stance on a property protection use of force issue back in AU in his twitter feed. The feed may be different now. I may have to occasionally open up a twitter feed on someone, which I now never do without being directed there, and check in to see what's going on with Andrew. Looks like he's an interesting guy and a pretty big presence I'm sure wherever he is. https://twitter.com/andrewbogut?ref_src=twsrc^tfw&ref_url=http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/170920-latest-laker-andrew-bogut/ Here's the quote, just have to scroll down a little in his feed now .... Andrew Bogutā€¸Verified account@andrewbogut Sep 18 Andrew Bogut Retweeted Gareth J McCraigh "Yes, it is. Im guessing you would serve an intruder coffee and tim tams by the sounds of things....." Then again he might just be a redneck? Didn't like Kobe did he?
"Luke Walton talking about the Andrew Bogut signing at @ESPNLosAngeles event last night: 'I absolutely love it." .... and we love you Serena. I bet some day she blows up like Rachel Nichols is currently. Have always liked Rachel's chops reporting around the game and her presence. Same with Serena on the more limited stage so far.
Simeone posted this exact same thing last yr too lol, we have deepest, most talented core of pf/c haha
Why bring that up? Lopez, Bogut, Zu, Nance 2017 and Randle 2017 are >>>>>>>>>>>> than Mozgov, Zu, Black, Nance 2016 and Randle 2016.
Great response. Come on. We should be excited as hell about this season and now picking up Bogut at the tail end as virtually a gimme. Are you going to take your usual hard line here ..... because "it happened"? With totally inferior players plugged in to those on the roster this year at the center and small ball center positions?
You did. It was from me. Why I am being f****** defensive over it. I wasn't the person who made it this year. And last year our center rotation was certainly not the largest of our problems. Plus after Magic told Luke to not even play Moz any longer because we were tanking it became crippled.
I dunno...something tells me that Bogut will barely play because he'll get injured before he has a chance to make an impact. However, if his leg is completely healed and he's ready for training camp and start of the season? This is a pretty low risk high reward signing and it takes pressure off of Lopez (and now they'll likely be in a timeshare at the C spot with Randle/Nance rotating in at the 5 at times)
...brings an edge, will put opponents on their butts, throw some 'bows. A thug but at least has some polish. Good hands. We're not rushing Bogut back but he can be useful on the defensive end for short stretches later on.
Its the buying the extended warranty on electronics type of signing lolz. Instead were dealing with centers.
