uhhhh cool? this is totally a luke signing. but i'm kind of bummed out for zu. i'm guessing management feels like he needs a lot of work still. but then again, bogut will probably play about 20 games before getting hurt

Love the signing. Am thinking about if that takes away from small ball doe. If Lopez gets in foul trouble i could see things getting problematic so great depth and insurance to have as a big body defender. Experience with luke will allow a smooth transition. Get in shape and well see what how he looks. Definitely a nice lil suprise So we STILL have the exception?
No more roster spots, but I'd say we're primed for deadline moves depending how the depth chart shakes out. He's a heck of an asset and expiring Contract on the cheap.
iirc: even when healthy, dallas couldn't keep him on the floor last year because his footspeed compromised the defense. between him, lopez, and zu, the lakers better commit to a scheme that allows for a slow 5 man. they exist, but it's limiting in some ways. good news is that most teams don't have shooting 5s, but rim-running 5s are also a problem if your second pick and roll guy doesn't move well because the pgs get into the paint at will.
