He’s 24th in the rebound list. But they didn’t include him in their Top 12 players. That’s interesting.

Considering our relationship with him, it's so strange seeing him rack up these accolades.

Still doesn't mean he's a good player but seeing two of the greatest bigs of all time... and then Drummond on a list is just going to seem really weird 15 years from now.

there's no question he's a great rebounder and one of the best in the game for years now, but that's really it. his offensive numbers were a lot better in his detroit days, but he was never a great offensive player. guy has zero bball IQ or post moves

he's always been the definition of empty stats

i still don't think he's a difference maker at all, but i do wonder how his lakers tenure would've gone if 1. he had arrived in shape instead of just sitting out for weeks waiting for the cavs to trade him and 2. he hadn't gotten injured in his first game

playing him over gasol was dumb, but i think he could've been a lot better here if he had been in shape and not suffered that toe injury right away

yeah, my issue wasn't with drummond as a backup center. it was handing him a job he hadn't earned and the effect that kind of thing has on a team.

he's definitely a guy we could use for 15mpg right now. then again, the comments referenced above suggest he may (still) not be ready to accept that that's what he is.

he'll always be an empty stats guy. 15 pts-20 rebounds every night on a losing team. unless a team has enough talent around him to mask his deficiencies, put him on a winning team and he makes them worse because his game is extremely flawed
