I mean 2-way players can’t play in the playoffs so they don’t really count. One of our centers can be let go and we could also add Olivari back on a 2-way

I’m thinking Rui and/or AR need to always share the floor with either DFS or Vando

I hate to see Knecht go as I thought he was a tremendous pick. But we desperately needed a center and now we've got a 7 foot 23 year old one who looks pretty beastly. Not familiar with his game but obviously JJ is which is a nice bonus. Overall, I love it. We truly needed this move.

100%. Those dudes do not play a lick of defense.

I wish we had an offensive wing version of Vando. Like truly the way Vando is another stratosphere with everything defensively.

With this signing of Mark, does anything think we need a bruiser back up 5?? Or we okay running Hayes back there? From the clips, it seems like Mark isn’t “bulky”.

Mark Williams was a heck of a Duke kid. But he was overshadowed by, if i remember correct, Paolo Banchero?
    Or another mega Duke star.

But back problems never go away completely.
    They just get managed.
Get ready to be without him for an average of 15 games a year.
Unless his back issues are real bad, then we'll see.

Texas Longhorns Center Kadin Shedrick went out of the game tonight with an up flare of back spasms.
He got treatment and came back a quarter later.

oh no, is he another under the basket "I got contact" complainer?

We'd have him, Bron, and Luka all whining all game long. Please no. Everyone grow up and just blow people out. :)

Interesting. The foul shot looked atrocious, but he has good instincts on blocking out and blocking shots and rebounding. Offense is a little raw, but you can tell the talent is there. For giving up so much weight to Jokic, he didn't do terrible.

I have a feeling his first playoffs ratcheting up the intensity, he'll get schooled his fair share.

Ok, color me encouraged. I may even watch a few games now lol.

    :Pelinka Double Thumbs Up:

    Nice job Rob.

At this point, you really appreciate the scouting staff and how the drafting of Max and Knecht played a role in these major acquisitions. Overall, just an amazing retooling with an all time legend in the prime of his career. Crazy stuff.

He came into the league as a defensive prospect but it’s his offense that has been a real positive so far.

He is a really good rebounder and I think he can be coached into a solid defender. At the very least, we can make schemes that puts him into positions to succeed.

In some ways he reminds me of where a young Bynum was before he broke out. If we can get 16/10 in 25 mins of production, we’re golden.
