If James has his druthers...Caruso will be a Laker as long as he is here. He also works the two man game well with Davis. I just wish he could sink those perimeter J's with some regularity.

Last night he caused a turnover by hanging around in the backcourt again which is becoming a norm with him. Elite is being thrown around with his name when it comes to D.

So I guess Carushow is a closer too?

Don't we have him for another year?

What an excellent find and re-signing last summer by ROB.

Kept on working in the G League, never wavered in between... I remember the first time I watched him, Caruso threw the ball directly to the player guarding him with no pressure. Camp fodder? Nope so happy he proved me and a whole lotta peeps wrong.

I’ll know he’s made it when every team game thread I read doesn’t have at least 2 negative comments about his looks or body. I love this guy but definitely needs to work on his shot this off season.

I'm not a big fan of Kidd the coach, but the Bald Eagle should ask in detail how he went from an awful shooter to a good one. That will be the difference in the career trajectory and salary. If he can fix that J, he can be a starting guard and get paid like one. Otherwise he'll get paid like a career 1st guard off the bench.

Made a trey...was his usual ace self on D. I wanted him on Dragic. Now that looks over. Dove for a loose ball that kept a possession alive resulting in a jumpball. Took a hard shot on a drive and lost his headband. Usual effective two man game with that James guy.

Still would like to make more outside J's to keep defenses honest. Shot looks flat and with little room for error.

Hit a three, beautiful quick move in the key for a straight on layup, threw one down on a break with Lebron’s feed and played great heads up defense per usual. And I’ll say it again he appears to have gotten “quicker” since he’s been in the Bubble which indicates to me he keeps doing some kind of training for that.

    Read this mantra over.

Alex Caruso is the hero we deserve AND need right now. The Eagle has landed and has a home in LA.

Everything we wanted Steve Blake to be and wasn't Caruso is and more.

but Steve was a black belt and would kick your butt. Caruso will only bag your groceries.

Yeah, somehow I don't think Steve Blake was that tough. Spikes and stones would break his bones. Think maybe the whole cage fighter thing might have been a misnomer. He was more likely a cage dancer. 1.26 in ye of little patience.

The spike strip was the end for me and Blake....like who the hell steps on one of them and hurts their foot. It’s not like you can’t see them from a mile away.

So I was just reading what's left to read of Game Time last night and saw this:

    BangBoomPow:
is AC the most explosive white dude in the league?

Have said it a couple times now but don't know if anyone else agrees with me. Especially laterally on defense, but also like that quick move splitting the two defenders in the paint and straight on attack to the basket for the lay in .... it seems to me he has gotten actually quicker as the season has progressed?

Of course I acknowledge could just be my purple tinted Eagle binoculars affecting my observation.

    Greatness.

Seriously now, he does exactly what he is supposed to. Now he has to work on that long range shot in the offseason. We need to keep this guy. Don't trade, please.

AC Fresh has just been a total revelation for his time here in LA. Love the chemistry with him and Lebron and the rest of the team as well. He's a perfect complementary hustle player for the Lakers. Here's hoping he works on his long ball and improves there because he's doing everything else extremely well. Great D, solid passing and setting guys up, just doing all the little things to succeed. The occasional breakout dunk on the break is sick!

Do you realize .... if say we package Kuz along with Danny Green for a needed strategic move ..... that of ALL the promising to really good "Kids" that have come from our misery fueled high draft picks the last however many years ..... that it's possible Alex freaking Caruso may become the single ONE we opted to hang onto? The Ralph's Store bagger or produce guy? That's crazy!
