That pose...smh. I wanted to see Caruso spend some time covering Doncic last night. Did so and held up. Canned a foul line mid-range J. Of all our wings, probably the only one who can break down a defender off the dribble even if it is not saying much.
Lakernation is owning Twitter and the internet right now. Alex is very deserving of the praise he's been receiving
Anything is possssssiiiiibbbbiillle .... We saw AC explode a couple times as a starter last year for 30 some and high 20 point games against good competition. He is unquestionably a stronger and better player now. Elite is being said about him in areas. Rondo's finger is dinged up a bit. Give AC an "all star" showcase opportunity and start him for some games at that 30+ minute range. Can you imagine if that is who he really is? So he blows up (it could happen) and the media and the players vote him too. BOOM he is an All Star. LOL well maybe not the players. Give the kid a shot. I think he handles it great and then you always know you have it.
I don't see how, given his body of work, can anyone justify not having him to be the first guard off the bench? Really?
He may not always shoot well but always brings the D. His effort is contagious. I’d love for his minutes to continue to climb.
Everyone knows you have to load manage white players who are more prone to injury than their counterparts :Carusoshaka: I'm not saying it's true, but just that it FEELS true. Whatever he's doing, he's helping us get the maximum out of his capabilities. Top players eventually push their way to the top, and there is nothing you can do to stop them. If he can truly do this for 30-40 minutes a night, he'll be starting in the NBA here or elsewhere before too long.
We've got him under contract for 1 more year. I could be wrong, but I don't recall a player option. We'll know by next year if he continues this trajectory and solidifies himself as an NBA starter.
He needs to be playing way more when Rondo is out - 23 minutes is unacceptable. I wanna see Caruso play 30 minutes consistently.
Yes. The same way Lonzo needs to play. Messes up their rhythm when they keep getting pulled out of games.
Such a steal re-signing Caruso. He reminds me a lot of Brogdon from the Pacers. Such a mature and poised player out there.
