I’m not savvy with this technology age, but if I were, I would post a video snippet of former Bush Attorney General John Ashcroft singing about “...let the eagle soar, like she’s never soared before...”. Touching at a minimum. It should be Caruso’s theme song.
Actually I’ve watched the replay of this from every angle like 30 times and I don’t think what Caruso did was intentional. It is such a fast play, such a bang bang play as they say, there’s no way he could have grabbed Kleber’s hand on purpose unless his reflexes are superhuman or he can see the future. It looks to me like Caruso goes up with his normal dunking motion and Kleber’s hand just gets caught on Caruso’s when he’s bringing it up on accident. Watch this video, Caruso isn’t even looking at his hand or the defender, all eyes are focused on the basket. But still an offensive foul based on the letter of the law? Yeah, could have been.
