    honestly, PER isn't even "analytics" really. i think i came up with something better when i was 12.

    not to derail the thread, but i think "analytics" is largely a misnomer, as most of what people in the business seem to do is simply gather more and better data. the manner in which they're analyzed seems both convoluted and unimportant.

    He had a good yoffs run against Philly last year but he basically has nothing left in the tank and that's being real. He can be a good locker room presence but I'm more about what can he achieve on the court. If you're in love with him that's fine but hes done son..

    I don't think James Jones is the active GM anymore as I thought they brought in someone else to councel or oversee that position. But just did a few google searches and yes, it appears Mr. Jones is till the GM. So we'll have to see...
