Friendly reminder that the award show that nobody cares about anymore is happening on Monday. Yes, the draft for next season happened already but we still don't know who the MVP of last season. Yes we also know which team won the championship and the finals MVP but not the regular season MVP. I guess throw your predictions here?
bad idea to have it so late even if it's your own players, how do you not lose interest? with no players really in the mix for any awards, I'll be lucky to care enough to scan espn for results for 20 seconds after the fact really thought they would have fixed this huge error in judgment after last year
This is so stupid, I had forgotten this was still happening. I get that the NBA wants to stay relevant, but the Finals always go into mid-June, and the draft and free agency keep them very much in the news. The only positive I could ever see coming from this is a player I hate or something winning MVP this long after having been bounced in the 1st or 2nd round. But that isn’t enough to really make me happy if it’s Harden, I still hope it’s Giannis.
Yay. Woot woot. No to the disgusting Beard. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bucks-...amed-nba-mvp-over-james-harden-031656355.html
Harden's stats are as fake as they get... give him the ball every friggin time down the court and watch him shoot 20+ threes with a 50% usage rate lol...and score 30-35 points a night...big deal.
Harden has more free throws made than field goals made. That literally says everything about this mans career. A career of flopping, initialing illegal contact, and living at the free throw line. Where has that got him? No where. Just ruining the game of basketball because idiot commentators praising him for “being clever.” GTFO here, back in the day, players trained to play THROUGH contact, not initiate it. What a wimp.
